Thread: TKA any good for soloing krayts?
I would agree, I hit a krayt for about 40mins and did a third damage. I am a master doc and my ham was never an issue.
My advice bring a commando or rifel man
Realistically, you never going to solo a krayt unless you find one somewhere other than the Graveyard, at least on Bloodfin. With 70% Kinetic Ubese, a PSG and intimidate2, a giant krayt hits for a whopping 50-70 damage. You're going to want some knockdown resists, since they enjoy usingdizzy/knockdown area attacks.
If you're looking to be a krayt tank, I'd suggest capping your melee defense. The more they miss, the less armor you burn though, the less money you lose. You might also, want some heavy swords, so you have AP2.
Use taunt to keep it from attacking other people and running away and make damn sure to keepthem intimidated.

As a TKM a Krayt is an easy solo.
I use 80% Kinetic armor, 2 viarian brandies and 3 vagnarian canapes. I rotate the food in as I get the space in my stomach and am usually pretty successfull at keeping my mind over 2.2K the entire time. Basically as a TKM with some good armor, a Krayt simply does not do enough damage per hit to really hurt you (that is of course if you have some medic skills and can heal every so often or as needed).
The only real drawback to it is that it takes a TK forever...about an hour. I have switchd up recently and became a MHS, since then they have been dropping much faster.
