Just logged on and was doing some testing, and it seems that innate armor was nerfed too hell, for both tk and defenders. Anyone else notice this? Seems too be absorbing around 15%.

Im gonna go find some of my old armor and see how much I absorb with that on, I really hope I dont have too go back too wearing a tin can!

Edit: Ok this only seems too be a Jedi thing, because against regular toons I amabsorbing the right amount of damage and so does the person Im hitting.

yeah thats what it was, just got too tired last night and didnt respond. But isnt that a little insane? 3 hits and your dead as a TK? Forget trying too take on 2 people anymore, you will be dead before you can blink.

wait why are you getting so annoyed??

tka armor wasn't nerfed... and by the look of thoughs nubers you didn't have cob on it seems. which basically halves the damage done to you.

He said he had on CoB in his post. Only getting 17% mitigation with CoB running is pretty harsh even with an advanced armor break by your opponent.

thats because saber armor brake was fixed , for some mysterious reason saber brake damages innate armor , but you can do the same to them is its fair , before saber armor brake i still block about 50%

and a additional note: yes they do more damage but you have to be dumb not to have at least doctor 4000 , just eat food up the arse drink ,.(syn stake, and the dodge food helps tons) make sure you keep cob running , if you have sword flury use it(+80 defense on top of your 500)

i was able to win 5 fights against jedi out of 9 , never before i was able to take down a jedi , so overall i say the patch was benefitial to us non jedi

another note: i got them damn close before , but their instant heal while on the floor they had before was close to unbeatable , i used to fight them for hours until i ran out of mind , or the jedi ran out of force and became a stale mate or he ended up running

If its jedi only, then maybe it has something to do with elemental damage? check to see if its the same with regular toons using elemental weapons.

Ok wrote down some numbers too explain what I am talking about. I am Swords/Tkm, and the two test subjects were Master Defender and a Commando/Bh combo. I had oncob, while the Jedi had aura and the Bh had on duelist stance/COB.Here are the numbers from the combat logs, too simplify things I am only posting one special used by each but the % absorbed on all specials came out too be the same.

Me vs Jedi:

Jedi - Saber Power Attack: Hit for 1067 out of a possible 1284. Total absorbed by me 17%

Me - Head Hit: Hit for 880 out of a possible 1055. Total absorbed by Jedi 22%

Me vs Bh/Commando:

Bh/Comm - Crit Shot: Hit for 550 out of a possible 1069. Total absorbed by me 49%

Me - Head Hit: Hit for 472 out of a possible 1047. Total absorbed by Bh/Comm 55%. The Bh/Comm had on 7000 kin armor.

I've seen no problems with innate armor or CoB. I was just fighting Nightsister Protectors and Spell Weavers, level 81s (im level 80). Without center of being I was absorbing 146 out of 301 damage. With center of being i was absorbing 75 out of 156 damage. Means Innate armor absorbs just under half, center of being cuts that in half again.
