Go CM 4/4/0/4.

It will give you terrain negotiation for those battles in the boondocks. Seriously though, as a TKM you really don't do enough damage to someone who really know what they are doing (given that they'll have 80% Kinetic, buffs, and possibly a Mk3). Anyhow, I have found that CM compliments TKM in the best possible way.

First it gives you range and discourages whould be kiters. Sure ppl will run from you, until that Mind Poison C ticks for 800dmg, then you can bet they'll sprint at ya trying to get you before your poison gets them. Then it's nothing but a brawl, which you want in the first place.

Not to mention if you can get yourself some Spider Venom from the Genosian Caves (Makes an amazing poison when crafted by a good CM). My guild make, who is famous on the server for his Buffs and Poisons is able to make me Poisons which click for 900+dmg every 8 sec. This stacked with the other poisons he makes and I can stack an 1800 per click poison on someone in 12 sec.

You'll also find that during GCW battles your ability to heal your friend's mind (at will) will make you the hero of the day. (Sure healing someone elses mind gives you a small mind wound, you can easily cure it-meditate).

Anyhow, in my experience this Template is so powerful you will find that people will demand that you NOT use your poisons because it is simply too strong of a template. Others will outright call you an exploiter. Keep in mind that these same ppl will cheer when they see you drop that son of a B$%& Rifleman who is wiping everyone out with his Ion Rifle.

Well, that's my advice...TKM/CM 4/4/0/4. If you need more convincing, I have not yet come across a single person who when one on one can last more that 24 seconds. As for mobs, I have soloed EVERYTHING!!

Incase you are wondering, I took up CM because it was the only profession in the game that could stand up to a defense stack.

Can you tell me why the ranged healing speed tree is so important? If I was just pvping, and interested in the poison, could I avoid that tree? Thanks.

The speed tree will cut your wait from poison thrown to poison thrown from 16sec (I think, if not longer)between throws down to 4 seconds between throws.

Incase you are unfamiliar with how to stack poisons it works like this; No 2 like poisons can be stacked i.e. Mind C + Mind C does not = 2x Mind C. However you can stack different ratings of poisons on a person such as, Mind C+Mind B+Mind AoE-B.

Depending on who craftts your poisons it could be end up being a 1700dmg per click stack.

So if you where indeed trying to stack these you would have to waitnearly a minute to get it all out if you had no speed done. Where as you could get it all stacked in 12 sec if you had that part of the tree completed.

Also remember to use your surroundings to hide behind, and don't be too proud to run the opposite way. Your opponent will eventually burst run in desparation, when this happens run to meet him and...well, you know.

While this template works now be aware that the major combat rebalance is coming in the next 2 publishes. I think that you will find CM will be brought down a couple notches in PvP as CM's drastically affect the balance as things are now (the 800 mind damage a tic is just one good example). This really goes for any PvP\PvE templates. Everything is going to be changing over the next 2 months for all professions. By the time you get your TKM\CM template, it could be nerfed (to some degree).

I know the way to go, no one's guiding me.
When time soaked with blood turns its back,
I know it's hard to fall.
Confined in me was your heart
I know it's hurting you, but it's killing me."
