Is there any word on getting VK's fixed? something that you ***add*** to your character shouldn't **subtract** from your character (i.e. do less damage than naked)

VKs arn't broken

They are a novice elite weapon. & it is intended that they don't stack with Unarmed Damage now.

the higher end knucklers I hope we might see some tweaks on, but at the moment the only Master level weapon we have access to (other then the Nightblade that needs looking at due to the Unarmed Damage mod in my opinion) is the Katarn Knuckler, which will probably do a bit more damage soon when Elemental damage is fixed.

Well, okay, I can understand considering the humble VK a low-end weapon now...

T'would be nice if we could get some kind of high-end knuckler that DOESN'T require a quest, and is a viable alternative as a weapon. I have a powerhammer that does better damage in my TKM/Master Swords hands than the Nightblade or the Katarn either one, and it cost me only 50K to buy it, compared to either doing a difficult quest (one they recommend bringing Jedi for in the Nightblade's case), or else pay millions of credits for. What's TK got right now--VK's and blaster knuckles (can't recall the real name of those things for the life of me) or else difficult-to-get quest weapons. I'd be happy with the Black Sun knuckler, but can't even FIND one, whereas the high-end weapon for my Swordsman self is everywhere.

I *hear* (emphasis there, don't know from personal experience) that it's a random loot drop from Necrosis, the Greivous clone. No big deal, just kill off somebody who's something like level 92...

Yes the nightblade is a random drop from necrosis. At the moment until they fix the elemental damage it is better than a unsliced Knuckler of Katarn it has 5 more action use but more damage. Its not great but it looks like the pictures of the Blacksun one we saw on TC.

Exactly. Welcome to the only combat profession in the game that doesn't get a player craftable weapon to use as a master.

Im personally a litle disapointed i was really hoping that are damage will b stacked hoping hard it was just a bug o well plus if we had that stacking damage we would get crys for nerfs even though are fighting skills are weak unless u have a double mastery the damage tk moves do very little damage the ranged out damage us and makes it hard to fulfill our role as tanker if we cant keep them on us. Defense whise they wish they were us after we survive 3 level 84 ns and they are all dead.

I must be doing something wrong, Unarmed I hit for like 336 but with VKs I hit for something like 460. I am only a Novice TKA (CL 15) and did this test against CL 5 creatures that I just happened to get near so maybe that explains the difference.

They are a novice weapon, so as a Novice TKA they will do more damage. At TKM however they do less damage than if you were bare fisted.
