Thread: Overpowered? don't think so!
Everyone cries about TK being overpowered, granted, Tk is a powerful combat profession......BUT......you have to use it properly for it to be effective, you really have to plan your next move carefully, it's not a case of just standing there spamming the same stuff over and over again.
I reckon it takes a lot more work to be a successful TKA in PvE or PvP than most of, if not all of, the weapon-based professions.
Overpowered? I'm sorry, I must disagree. Yes, you are somewhat overpowered. You are currently the best combat class in the game. Commandos do more damage, yes, but take a look at the Commando board and learn some of the horror stories about how freaking bad our (Commando) proffession is right now. The only good thing about our class is the flamethrower, and that's when it actually hits.![]()
At least the players skill is taken into account in TKA. In Commando you double click and cross your fingers.
it's all about style...if you indeed spam only 1 or two attacks then you need to have your back get dirty once in a while... I gave up on PvP a long time ago but when I can solo a Ancient bull Rancor by planning my moves and retreats I feel pretty good about my chosen profession.
Also only yesterday I got cornered by a Nightsister elder who was doing force choke..thankfully I was buffed and procedded to knock her down and keep her down while I chipped away at her health...after 55 min she finaly died and I got 3032 credits and 4 identical Nightsister armor shards one of wich is gold.
"ahhhhhyour from jersey should have guessed"
that brilliant and astute post brought to you by dankpuffer. everyone should congratulate him (or her), as nothing, & i mean nothing, can escape his (or her) notice.
dude, why are you still posting if you don't have an actual point to post? is creating an unneeded flame war that important to you? not that it matters - real life calls, so feel free to throw in your insults all you like. ain't nobody gonna be here to notice them tho.
& to the original poster - sorry this sillyness happened.
