Give this poor guy a real answer.Anyway i will give ya an answer.Go on datooine with a medic,ch skill(if you have medic skill then just find a ch friend ...)and go hunt huurton madron. They give 7k each mission wich makes 3500 in overall for each one of you. They give good exp and is easy mission cause their is usually 2 or 3 huurton and 1 huurton madron.A huurtonhas 4k ham and a huurton madron got 7k ham.Ur friend ch will send his pet to tank and you kill him with unarmed hit 2(vk's on).It will do you 100 each time you do unarm hit 2 but your friend medic will heal u so it dont matter.I dot 1k with vk on and when you will get kd1 do it and you will do 1700 damage whith unarmed hit 2 while his knckdowned.

Hope this help

Well, I'm glad a found a holo, I would have never done TKA. Mainly b/c I hate the unarmed grind and commando was enough for me. Anyway I know that TKA's are bada$$ but how does it compare to my current character mch/commando 0/0/4/0?I wanted to get 3-4 moreholo's while a commando b/c killing fs mobsis so easy. How easilyor hard will it be to kill fs mobs with a TKA player?Should I juststrated to grind and swap whenI get more holo's? As of now I could probably solo the jedi cave on dant.Last timeI was there I was slain b/c my stupidmaulers wondered too for downandentered the very bottom were the fs peeps came after me. Would I be able to clear or come close to it with a TKA?How much TKA do you need to kick butt and what order shouldI get the skills.

Thanks

let me put it this way, im a 4-4-4-3 tka and can pretty much clear the whole tusken fort with another 2 tka that are close to me in skill. i do not yet have the damage increase that comes with the master title and i can pertty kill what ever i want. does that answer your question. we are viable in pvp too, u just have to be smart

grind xp til novice tka...get fast vibroknucklers...everything else comes with experimentation of your specials as you get them...oh...one more thing...mind is now your weakness...help mind stats as much as possible(muon gold, stat migration, mind buffs,etc.)...good luck...it's a loooong road, but worth the chaos afterward...

Hey all I just picked up Novice TKA this morning, while I haven't been able to test it out much I can tell from just novice that this will be a VERY fun profession. I have been many many things in the past 2 months so far my favorite is Master Swordsman. Basically what I am wanting to know is, what skills should I pick up first? I have heard that Power Boost and Meditate are really good because you can heal dmg wit Meditate. But then there is the choice to get KD first and have a little PvP fun while I work on the rest. I am really hoping that my TKA experiance will be as enjoyable as Swordsman. Thanks in advance for any pointers you guys/gals can give me on this subject.

Ok, here are my suggestions. I am also a master medic, so I had all of my stats pushed toward mind.

Here is my set up.

700/400/400 : 700/400/400 : 1100/600/700

I would suggest that you get balance 1 first. Not only does it give you KD, but it also gives you melee mitigation 1. very helpful. I would next suggest goin up to meditate 2 for PB. i did this since I don't get buffed much. Next, go up the power tree to 4. you will get a big boost in speed and damage. Then, go to balance 3 for melee mitigation 2, and go to 4 to finish the tree. Then, meditate the rest of the way. Train striking when you get the combat xp.

now, for xp, here is my suggestion. First, get those speed sliced vk's and a set of good ubese (50% kinetic or higher is good for this. don't want it too high for grinding).

Go to endor and hunt crazed gurrecks. This is my advice, since you can easily solo them unbuffed.

they are lvl 40 missions. They pay in the 59xx ot 61xx range. I would suggest gettin the missions from the research outpost, since they seem to spwan closer. There are 9 CG's per lair. They have 5k hams, no armor, and only 15% kinetic resists. They are aggro and they DB.

Why hunt them:

1. They can be solo'd when unbuffed. Good for when you can't find a doc.

2. When grouped, they give 3600 xp each, with 4k for the lair. If the lair spawns all adults (usually 1 baby), then that is 36400 xp for 1 lair.

3. Since they only have 5k hams, they can be done fairly quickly for the experience.

4. Here is the big one. Even though they are aggro and they DB, they are NOT social! They only time I have ever had more than 1 attack me was when my mask scent fell before combat, and one detected me. Since they do not assist, you can easily solo the lair. Even if you don't have mask scent, they have a very small aggro radius (15 - 20 meters).

Tactics:

With your armor and your vk's, get 2 crazed gurreck missions. It may take you a while to get 2 in the same direction, but it is worth it. When you get to the lair, approach the first gurreck. Always use stun! It halves the damage that you take! Evenif you have to use stun a few times, make sure it lands. Now, equip you vk's and just use auto attack. When the gurreck gets low, use KD if you have it. if not, justfinish it with UAH2 (they run at low ham). After dispensing all 3 CG's, hit the lairONCE. Wait for the gurreck to come out, and kill it. Just as you finish the first one, the second one should spawn. Repeatwith #'s 2 and 3. Now, hit the lai until the orange bar (the lairs condition) is just about to the d and the gin the word "crazed gurreck" label in you window. Stop and wait for the gurreck to spawn. Finish all 3 as you dod the second set. When all 9 are dead, finish thelair. Congrats! you just got 30K + xp and 6k creds. =)

This gets easier when you have med 2 since pblets you last longer before needing to regen. When you hit power 2, you should be able to finish the lair in one power boost. I would continue to use CG's till master, since they are good prey. If you have scout skills, harvets meat or hide, since these are the only things that tey drop, and sell to either a medic or a tailor, depending on which has the better stats.

Now, I am at 2142. I have switched to using kinetic mabari armor and an ubese helmet, all kinetic resists. Since I am hitting harder and faster,I don't take as much damage.

At novice, you should be able to do 4 - 5 missions in an hour, down time included. At212x, you should be able to do 5 -6 in an hour. At 214x, you can do 6 + an hour. This is my favorite way of getting unarmed xp.

Have fun. =)

Remember, never try to dizzy them. Dizzy/KD doesn't work on animal mobs, just NPC's.

Last note: Gurrecks dizzy and stun, but they do not KD, so you shouldn't have to worry about that.

happy hunting.
