Is there a difference in the chance to hit on the two tera kasi KDs? I've got KD 1 and was wondering in what way KD 2 was better

Knockdown 2 applies Dizzy along with a Knockdown. So unless whatever you fighting has a high Defense against Dizzy it isn't coming up anytime soon...

Is it possible to dizzy something mechanical like a droideka or perhaps even an ATST?

You can give them the status effect "dizzy," but from my experienceit doesn't actually do any good on anything buthumanoids.

15 seconds and pop, they are up and fighting....dizzy or not.

What about the chance to knock something down at all? With KD1 I've failed at times, is KD2 almost a sure thing?

Notes:

Droidekas are for some reason considered humanoid, so Dizzy does infact work on them.

kd2 applies Dizzy BUT, the dizzy effect in kd2 sucks and lasts for a short period, it you want the real effect apply dizzy by itself.

Ok, here's my observations:

They cost the same HAM.

KD2 gets resisted a lot more on the same level mobs.

KD2 does more damage than KD1, but considering the resist factor, KD1 is still more efficient.

Could anyone tell me any advantage to using KD2?

I don't have KD2, but if you're finding that it gets resisted more, you're just wasting a round by failing. So use that round to always KD and then follow up with a Dizzy. The damage is neglible on higher mobs, it averages out to 2 or 3 rounds out of a possible 30 or 50.

KD 2 is resisted more? Maybe I need to do a bit of experimenting on my end...

Has anyone else found KD1 to be more reliable?
