I heard an idea where why can't Teras Kasi attack Jedi more freely. example BH terminals for TK.

Ok yesterday there was a jedi with "Jedi initiate" title showing was showing off his light saber. I am a Master Teras Kasi and Overt Imperial and I couldn't attack him because he wouldn't a force power. Now come on.. if he looks, acts and dances like a jedi.. but isn't flying like a unicorn I still should be able to attack him.

the TK were feared by the jedi. but only cuz the jedi were afraid that...like all other things..there could be good and bad TK.TK are monks. When one went bad he killed some members in his order. the jedi sensed this and went after him. he killed like 2. at this...more TK joined him and then jedi had a nice big problem. thus...the TK that didnt hate jedi were forced to flee as the jedi massacred the TK...like the mandalorians. the TK that didnt turn always carried a grudge with the jedi. but cmon theyre monks. they dont go looking to pick a fight with the jedi.

Um Mandolorians nearly wiped out the Jedis dude...... nearly **edit**ing extincted them

Teras Kasi are just a general good martial arts.

There history has no conection with the Jedi and so far i have not been able to turn up any scred of offical canon evidence that it has.

That the Teras Kasi and the Jedi are not at odds can be seen as there is even a Jedi Master who also is a master at Teras Kasi.

Teras Kasi dont have to be force sensitive nor are they imune to the force etc etc etc.

Let stick to what canon tells us about the Teras Kasi, not what some people have used as an altered reality for there RPG games. As of yet i have not heard from anybody who could point me to canon matirial comfirming all the wild fantasies that go around in the heads of some TK.

but TK's were created for revenge on jedis destroying the original home planet of the first TK's... or that's what i think... eventually, TK's ended up keeping peace within jedi, but I don't think that's how it goes during this story timeline

I thought it was covered already, the story about TKA watching Jedi was fan fiction or froma RPG. I didn't think anyone found any proof of this in the books etc.

Has that changed or is this all still a myth? I don't think the DEVs see it this way and regradless both version do'n't have TKA hunting Jedi, at most watching them to make sure there isn'ta repeat of the light v dark battle that destroyed so many no-com's lives. In fact if there ever was a second Jedi purge and it took place on dath or someplace sim. I don't think the TKA (watcher style) would care.

Well Im not sure about the history of TKA, and I can't find anything doing web searches, other then stuff from the Nintendo Masters of Tera Kasi game and this game.

I do know that at one point Q3PO said that TK has a special purpose. This was in regards to people talking tanks, and how this game doesn't really have any, but the TK dont make especially good tanks. And then Q jumped in and said that. At first I thought maybe it was something along the lines of tanking, but only at master. Now with Jedi, and some of the things I have read on this forum, I think maybe their "something special" has to do with Jedi. Not sure if its protect or attack though.

If you think about it though, the TKA would be a good apponent against jedi. They don't use blasters that can be deflected. They get in close, and as long as they can avoid that LS, they will be OK. Generally, if a Jedi is in close combat, they are focusing on the LS, and not their physical body defences. Thus some hits from a TKA would be well fealt. Seeing as the master TKA has some insane defence bonuses, I think for them to avoid the LS enough to stay alive for a while is possible. I don't see master TKA taking out a master Jedi, but probably Master TKA taking out Jedi knight, and for sure Jedi Initiate.

I think the skill points used in becomming a BH also play a role. I personally do not think we should be able to hunt them because there would be way to many doing it. With BH, getting invest.3 along with some skills in other areas(such as eye shot), there isent much left for them to due a whole lot, whereas tka, we need unarmed 1-4 and thats it. So while it may not play into the star wars story line, to get jedi hunting, we may have to giveup something else.

i dunno. i don't support any of this ''tka is the watchers of jedi'' or whatever. but i do think that if anybody fires up a lightsaber THAT in and of itself should be TEF instantly. i mean come on.. what the heck is going on here? i'm tired of seeing people shouting in the starport ''wtb force crystal'' and duelling with their sabers in the cantina. yeah, it was cool at first ''ooh look the first crop of jedi!'' but now it's just plain annoying.

This info is not cannon material. It was made by a role playeras background for his roleplaying.Somepractitioner of tka have been mentioned in some of the EU novels (SMALL MENTION) and roleplaying games.

In the novel shadow hunter there is a master jedi that is also a practitioner of TKA. DarthMAul (if im not mistaken) is also apractitioner of tka (ive promised to look for this info, but havent had the time i will get it). By theway the name of theis novel isDarth Maul Shadowhunter.

Peoiple have been mentioning Shadows of theEmpire asa source for tka info. Well I just read it again, and there is only one mention of the"Pike sisters"which are TKA. Page 12-13. Basically all it says is that the 2 of them can beat up 8 well trained storm troopers to a pulp w/out braking a sweat.

Anyways Ill try and collect all the info on tka sooner or later and post something.

Basically tka is a martial art, nothing more nothing less.Anyone could be a jedi hunter or watcher. If you want to hunt use bh skills or team up w/ a bh. If you want to watch, you could be any profesion. Watching=spying. Anyone can be a watcher. Put it this way a pistoleercan be as much of a jedi hunter/watcher as a tka, it just depends on the background story you want for your charachter. That is the one good thing about imagination. Start using it untill cannon material comes out.
