I think TK is a generally good profession. We can apply almost all states even if dizzy and kd don't work well anyway. There are some things that I think would improve it greatly and not make others call nerf any louder then they are.
1) No more dmg types. I think with the balance and the changes in armor we'll be ok. Remember VK's have amor penetration. I think Duel Weild would also help here, as we should be doing more damage.
2) One of the biggest problems in the game is kiting. And hey, that's what you get for being a melee profession. That's all good and fine, but give the TKA's a speed boost much like monks in most other games. This will give us at least a chance to catch people before the get away. Seeing as we are highly trained killing machines, it makes sence that we can run a little faster. Or maybe burst run more often.
3) Fix Center of Being and Defence Accuity. See fencer for CoB.
4) Combo's are useless moves cause they spread damage out, but only because we have attacks that target specific pools. I personally think the combo's should damage one specific pool, and also add a state to another pool. Example. Head torso combo. Do health damage, but add dizzy. Leg-Torse Combo... Damage action, and add stun. yadda yadda. That's the only way i see combo's becomming usefull.
5) I think out meditate skills are awsome. There are bugs, but they are fine. But please please can Power Boost show in the buff bar... please... with a cherry on top.

Have you ever tried to press F5, on your keyboard? It gives you a little funny skil enabled, which let you run faster
Hehe, but I don't think that even mods for terrain negotiation, would be reasonble, to a Brawler. How would it make sense for a Brawler to run faster up hills and just run faster?
Monk is a pretty strong word. In other games, Monks are paladin like, Tankers who can heal.
Anyway... My top 5:
1) Specific TKA Content - New oroginal cool skills, items(Weapons, armor, clothes) and Quests, are all possiblities.
2)Please confirm og disconfirm, the TKAs role when comparing it to the EU. According to even the TKA Trainers, they mention "A way of life" And give expression for a more non fighting way of like. Like an Art that has great honor and pride within themselfs. Check www.teraskasi.net - For lots of info, backstory and so on, on TKAs. None, are mentioned in any way in Starwars Galaxies.
3)Many Teras Kasis, feel and look the same. It has been suggested to create an alternativ version of TKA - Like one being evil, and maybe having a different color Ribbon! Others have suggested a bigger amount of titles, and even different FightingStyles. I would like to see more uniqeness being added.
4)Want to know what Teras Kasis role is! In sociac aspect, in economic aspect, in PvP, In PvE and In GCW, aswell as in the world of Starwars.
5)Bug fixes to Teras Kasi! Fixing on Combo 1 & 2, "You can't meditate while moving" Bug, PB not showing up on Buff window, lack of animation for DA(not showing anything like a dodge animation which fencer has), CoB not being usefull, lack of an nice areaattack(Add improvement to SpinAttack2) and Mob/Player getting up from a second KD, if the first one works, then when using the second it makes the target stand up- Bug!

My top 5...
Nothing. This is the best profession in the game, after being a Carbineer for 10 months I feel like the most powerful thing in the universe being TKA.
As for kiting, try using UnarmedLunge1 and 2, has a range of 20m. One thing that would be cool is faster regenration while meditating, but I think the devs should focus on other professions in the game before TKA.

for the poster: being bugged makes the combos the most damage dealing moves in PVP, without it we plainly suck in PVP 
I also really like the fact the UC1 hits Health and Mind....great to take on all players with novice medic and up
UC1 is the special I use most in any duel/fight

Most people have long since changed their toolbars. I have +40 terrain negotiation thanks to the CM tree. And for the record, I tend to reach the enemy before most others in my party for that very same reason. I don't think you PVP otherwise you wouldn't have asked "how would it make sense for a brawler (which is not a TKA btw, just the tree it comes from) to run faster up hills and just run faster?"
That comment kind of baffles me. Why would anyone need to run up hills faster or just run faster with that logic? Heck lets just eliminate Squad Leaders because why do we need the burst run? OR get rid of burst run food cause why would we need to run faster? C'mon dude, if you don't utilize the proffession outside of PVE then don't make such vague comments.

Just to make sure you know I love TKA. It's awsome.
I just think it needs to work as the Dev's intended. Combo's are useless in PVP terms, and don't do enough damage to make them uselfull in PVE. In both PVE and PVP i'd rather be able to direct my damage the to gently sprinkle it over their ham pools. Trust me, duela career PVPer if you don't believe me. If i attack a Gurk 10 times with head hit, he'll be closer to corpse then if i attack him 10 times with Combo 2. Unarmed 3 does the most, but is random pooled. This is just my experience with TKA. I've been a master for months. I refuse to give it up.
honestly i believe if you fix the defensive capabilities TKA will be fine. We have the speed, Armor caps our damage (kinetic), but that might be getting better soon. We have the stats, We have the damage, But we can't stand up to most fencers cause we don't dodge, or block, or counterattack. ( I think weshould have counter attack,but that'swould be nerfed in time) However if Defence Acuity is fixed, that all gets better.
I don't know, just brain leaking here... just looking for some ideas

Are you sure you have ever tried using combo 1 and combo 2 in pvp against an armoured opponent?
If you have you might have noticed combo one get's A LOT more damage in then UH3, last time I checked i was doing about 30 damage per het UH3, 110 with combo 1....

combo 1 and U headhit are the only damage special I use in pvp REALLY

Thanks, but we already have a correspondent. I was just putting down what i think will make this a awsome profession without over powering in and then requiring a nerf. Is that what we all are striving for.
I personally think TKA should be the best melee profession in the game only hampered by the fact that we don't get multiple damage types. We aren't the best right now because things are broken, and things didn't work as the dev they would.
Anyway, that's why i called it a wish list.
P.S. Thanks for the vote of "Correspondent" sentament. I'd do it, but i don't post all that often, i do read lots. That's what made me decide to post this time, cause all the other TKA posts i think where going to end up with TKA to powerful, and they we'd have a nref to **edit** about in a little while.

LOL? Why am I not allowed to write my opinion down? Even if I only did PvE - It would not make my statement in any way less relevant! PvE is a hugh part of this game currently. Bu as you are a CM - I can see how easy it is for you to PvP...
I have not said that we DOM'T Need to run fast. I have said that a Brawler is a fighter, not a scout. Why should Terrain, be granted for a fighter, who learns to fight!
It's the same as giving all proffesions what they would need to be better. TKA has a kiter, problem but thats one of this proffesions weakness. And because of this, does not make it fair for a TKA to get some kind of ranged weapon just because he has a kiter problem.

If you want terrain you can dabble in scout, which are trained in the hard terrain. Food is food... Come on, this is still a game! No need to compare it with real life!
