Thread: Poll How many of you Tailors consider yourselves Star Wars fans?

After following these boards for months it appears to me that our profession (tailor) has the least amount of Star Wars fans. It looks like most of you are just gaming fans in general and could care less if this was Star Wars or any other SAGA. Why do I say this.....hmm ideas such as cowboy hats, lingerie, salsa dresses, etc. Well if you are a mild or hardcore Star Wars fan and you are a tailor this is the place to sound off.

Same here. I admit I groaned when I saw some of the items on the wish list like you pointed out.

Me!

I probably have over $10k worth of Star Wars memorbilia (toys, props, real movie stuff) and I was dissapointed to see a decided LACK of real Star Wars clothing and items (not to mention badly reconstructed locations) that are in the game.

The "wishlist" makes me very sad....

Depends what you mean by a 'fan'.

I've seen and loved all the movies, but outside of that I know nothing. I don't collect memoribilia, I haven't read any of the books, I don't go to conventions, nor do I know everything there is to know about the planets/races etc.

Hardcore Star Wars fan here, and a lot of the ideas make me cringe. Of course, how many sunguards did you see in Star Wars? And why can't I make a black vest that's even close to black? /sigh

What an idea, lets nerf tailors so they can only make clothing that appeared in the original movies so it fits the setting

I would have to class as a mild star wars fan, seen the movies, played a fair few of the games. But i chose tailor because the PA i chose needed one. I actually hate shopping for clothes irl heh.

I'm all for new clothing that hasn't been seen in the movies, but looks StarWarsian. But if I see a Greedo in cowboy boots, a 10-gallon hat, bell-bottoms and a jacket that only Disco Stu would wear, I'll freak!

For the last few weeks i have had many many more critical fails than i had when i was a novice a fair while ago. I have top of the line crafting tools and station. Two days ago I critical failed 4 times in 10 minutes. The last time was a consecutive critical fail on a fleshwrap I think. /quit was a very good temporary fix at the time.

Most of the more... colorful suggestions originate not from tailors, but from our customers.

I still laugh about the cowboy hat. I try to imagine the outfit someone was looking at when they said 'man what this game really needs is a cowboy hat'. Maybe a pair of ribbed pants and a vest with no shirt?
