You're probably wondering why I'm doing this poll... right? Well this isn't really on the radar right now becuase the devs are busy with JTL, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to get a feel for what you all think about the FS system. Feel free to add comments free-form to your post, or ask additional questions. The point is that if the devs were to ask "how do crafters feel about xp/rewards/blah blah" I can answer intelligently (since sometimes they want an answer NOW NOW NOW without time to poll).

Additional Schematic(s). That way it's an attractive reward, but unlike sockets/colors, it does not retroactively affect other items that we can make. That way being just a "plain tailor" is still viable.

( XX) Yes I did some of the quests on TC2 during testing and found them fun. Right now, I don't have the time to grind combat xp to even start the village with busy tailor shop, JTL Beta, and RL.

Explain: The quests themselves are fun in my opinion. I enjoyed my Luck (survey) quest and got a great little survey device for it.I enjoyed gathering the resources for the crafting quests in phase II andexperimenting on them. I also enjoyed phase I quest where I hadto calibrate the stuff I made on the first quest (prize was a peice of a sculpture). One big beef though... thePhase II and Phase III quests area competition between crafters. A friend of mine got a quest reward for finishing the very samemission that I did,but...I got nothing. I think everyone who completes the quest should get a reward and it shouldn't be a competition where powerful PA's and Player cities can support their crafters and get them tons of materials to make more items than individual crafters. The system is not fair. My friend received a jedi lightsabre crafting tool, I think all those who completed the mission and handed in the 10 items should have gotten one. It's slanted towards people with more time, credits and more than one account. Casual gamers cannot compete to get the 'prize'.

( X ) Other: It is either grind or be patient and continue to play like always and eventually get there. Slow and steady wins the race. I grind sometimes but I cannot do it the exclusion of everything else. If it takes me 6 months to unlock my second slot... well that's okay with me. It can't be too easy or else everyone would be Jedi in a short time. But again it's slanted towards power gamers.

I dont have one, if they become required to be a good tailor, then i drop tailor, i dont ever plan to do the FS quests.

My opinion may or may not be discounted tho due to the fact ive started playing my EQ2 beta accnt and (surprised too) found that i really enjoy that game and am leaving SWG at least for now (but after 15 months of tailoring i gotta butt in)

Explain: No! Un-fun grinding, only 45 crafters per phase, and complete reliance on combat characters for quest resources (or being forced to pay 10,000 credits per resource). If we have to continue trading in experience for FS experience, raise the tailoring cap by a lot and award us a meaningful amount of usage experience for having people wear our clothes. That may be the best hope for us career tailors.

( xx) Other: The rewards themselves are mediocre, but the second character slot would be invaluable. That's why many of us are giving the FS route a try.

Some sort of force ability that lets you log in anonymously and not pop up on people's friends lists. No more tellspam on login. Really!

have no idea, still on the works on getting tailor back, and setting up a shop in co-work with a doctor and a bio-engineer.

im injoying the game far to much to just "grind" to get a 2nd account, or even go for the FS skills, but some day, maybe...
