I was looking all over for a general price guide to go by with clothes that I am making, does anyone know of one or where it may be posted

Prices vary from server to server.

Bazaar vendor search is your friend!

Try using this feature, choosing entire galaxy then each item on the tailor list.

You will kinda be able to establish your own prices.

Advice...

If you undercut most your demand will be more than supply. It's easier to lower prices than raise them.

I try to keep my prices moderate, and my vendors stocked at all times!

I sell an item I restock it on next log in.

On Radiant I charge 10 cpu.


For BE clothes its 10k times the number of tissues used to make the item.

I charge 10 cpu as well on Gorath. Haven't really gotten into making BE clothes that much, I don't have a good source for the tissues.

I used to do about 13-15 cpu. Then I changed my prices to 6 cpu or so. I think the 6 was closer to normal. (This was all on Corbantis, btw.)

How do you guys keep track of your prices? Last time around I used a spreadsheet but that was a pain so when I picked up tailor again I just put everything up for 4K flat. Obviously, this means a lot of items has prices completely out of proportion to the resources involved which - until factory crates start working again so selling more for less will be beneficial - isn't something I really mind. But the larger the shop grows the bigger the pile of stuff that never sells becomes. So I want to adjust prices for certain items, and the only way I can think of managing that is to start adding something in their names (such as "PR1", which would translate into 1K) so I know what price to sell the item for.


Any tips?


(edit: The price I'd mark the items with would then be calculated with a CPU counting spreadsheet. But to know what the sell the item for I'd only have to look in the spreadsheet once, and then the information is in-game - either as a "have sold" mailor in the item - so I don't have to alt-tab everytime I put an item of that type up)

I had a chart that I printed out, although near the end of my merchant/tailor days, I started just putting all items of the same category up for the same price (ex. all shirts for 1k), then I moved to selling packaged outfits only, for 10k each.

Some of the catalogs listed in the stickies have prices with them, which can give you a general idea. Feel free to stop by my city's forums to look at mine as well.


It *does* vary by server, though. Others prices are a good place to start, but you can adjust compared to others on your server and how quickly things sell at that price.

when you look at the bazaar though its kindof hard to tell, I mean some of the stuff they sell for extremely low..others very high..so I might go mid way and see how the people react to it hehe

If you find that chart though, let me know I would love to see it
