True red is at Tailoring 3.
Theres no true bright orange.
I might be wrong but im 80% sure
I've seen orange well just on a vendor. It was one of the flight suits in orange looked pretty bright, kinda funny this other tailor i know can make the flight suits but can't make em in that orange color, guess it's just they have differnt skills or something

You'll get a decent red at Tailoring 3. You get a good red at Tailoring 4. Same with Blue. The Red and Blue at Tailoring 3 are shade variants. Some items, like duster and cloaks, can't be made in our best colors, due to the material or the complexity, not sure. Oh, and there is no true black at all in Tailoring. If you lower your gamma, you'll see it as black though.
I just got Tailoring IV after reading this, and I didn't get a red or a blue better than Tailoring III. Did get a new green and purple though.
Here's a request from meto all tailors out there:
Please make blue jeans. I'm sick of seeing brown and black, all the time. I mean usually things like this don't bother me, but even I'm begining to notice that everone on is wearing the same colored junk. NPC corpse looting is not goin ta help ether, because all I ever gotten from them is brown shirts and pants and (for some very odd reason) a lot of star wars thugs love to carry bright pink jackets. Sad, huh?Well, anyway I wear armor so this doesn't really apply for me, but I would just like to suggest the tailors get creative and orgianl, thanks.
I'm a master tailor, and you never get true red. Never get orange. Burgandy and Fuscia are as close as you come to red. Peach is as close as you come to orange.
Any items you see in this color are drops. You can tell if they were crafted by clicking on the item. It if was crafted, the designer's name will be listed there.
I can't tell you how disappointed I was to make master and find out there was no true red.
