Of course. But you'll look like everyone else, because EVERYONE buys all black.

Yes. After finishing my 932,234,574,245 all black outfit I'm pretty sure all black is in the game. Great if your trying to emulate the clone troopers from episode 2. :/

I made a reverse outfit for a guy. He wanted all black i said everybody has black so we made him a white jacket, white pants, black shirt, black boots and black gloves, he looked pretty sweet and he was quite happy indeed. Don't be afraid to make little suggestions on changes.

Actually what everyone seems to call black isn't black to me. I haven't trained in the tailoring branch that gives extra colors, but the only thing that I have is a dark grey (close to black in the dark) or a deep dark green that looks almost black. What color is it you guys are using that you call black? I assumed it was in the tailor tree since that is where I hear the reds etc are instead of the pale pastels. I currently have field wear 3, close to 4 and still haven't got very many real colors, just shades of them.

Eivo Dweirorr, Kettemoor, Master Tailor. Visit my shop just south of Kaadara along the coast near the PA hall at 4956, 6067 near Grail's Weapon shop on the map. Now listed on map under vendors, clothing.

After novice tailor you don't get any new colors unless you are going up the "Tailoring" line. The other three trees only grant schematics, all the skill modifiers are in the Tailoring line.

Lol, exactly what I was thinking. Not too hard to tell that some of the developers worked on UO.

Aye. All I ever seem to make is black. But in a way, it's helpful in that I can spend my XP on the trees other than Tailoring I-IV, since I don't have to worry much about colors. (Not that they work.)

For what it's worth, someone on a rant forum that I joked about the UO refernece to says that with a calibrated monitor and correct gamma, they are black. It's just that the rest of us are tired of running around in the dark and have turned the gamma up (I know I have) making true black look grey.

BTW for those mystified by the reference, UO allowed you to have dye tubs to change the color of items. Early in the game there were bugged black tubs that were banned by the devs because they did some terrible things or somesuch. Since there were many things in dark grey similar to what we're talkig about here, this became known as "true black." (Youcan get black dye tubs now as a veteranreward.)These were sold for huge amounts and traded in secret. An amusing cartoon from an amusing series follows.

If I talk with male players, All I ever make is BLACK, BLACK, BLACK.

When my customers are female, they want the entire spectrum. I black outift is nice, but what else can I do?

When I sell from my shop, I usually make a white, a black, and a green of the item I'm selling and they all sell out.

People are weird
