Thread: +100 medic outfit?

I've heard some mention of outfits that offer this bonus (I know it isn't supposed to stack over +25 right? But medics seem to be able to enjoy get stacked anyway, from the ones I've spoken with). I told a customer that it was possible to have an outfit that would grant that bonus and after warning that it was not garunteed that I would make him one if he was willing to take the chance. So far the only way I have seen is hat, the different slacks, leather trimmed shirt, and robe of honor. Are there any other choices?

I wasn't entirely clear. My Bio component supplier says +25 tissue isn't possible, so that leaves only clothing with two synth cloth sections able to be given +25. So far no vest or jacket or robe except the robe of honor can do that. So...is my supplier wrong? Or did those of you that have made an outfit with that bonus go the same route as me, or was their another option that I have not seen?

You can't have +100 medic. There's headwear, pant or skirt and shirts, and you can get a max of +75. From either a jacket or a vest, you can get 1 more synthetic cloth - there's no jacket or vest that requiresmore than one synthetic spot (there are ones that require identical, but they do not count, since identical do not stack.)

So, the biggest I've seen is a +15...so that means you could have a +90 outfit. I've heard of medical healing get up to +17, but never seen it, myself.

Why in the world would you want to do this? The MAX CAP on any single given bonus is +25 folks. You can run the number up as high as you like - only the first 25 points of that bonus is going to DO anything.

Apparently, doctors are still superstituous and like to have these kinds of outfits. I've told them all the same myself, but they still want it.

And then again, TH has said two completely different things...so I wonder about it, myself

+100 should be possible.

robe of honor +25
pants +25
shirt +25
hat +25

=100

But really with the new set buff's where they don't deviate any and the buffs are always the same we should be able to dispell the old 100 or 25 myth alltogether.

Have a doc buff with +25, he buffs for 2800 say. Then have him buff with +100 and see if he buffs for 2800, or more.

Excellent Idea! I'll have my doctor friend run tests and then we can dispell this whole +100 myth!

You can get +25 on a Grand Healer's Robes. I like them more than Robes of Honor.

Unless you are a guy! I sold an enhanced Grand Healer's Robe last night and realized I forgot to say "for women only" in the description. I think it was a guy who bought it..

But only females can wear those. Most of the docs on my server are male toons - hence the requests for Robes of Honor.

I always tell people about the +25 limit but it's hard to argue when it's what they request.....kinda like making a neon orange skirt for a guy *shivers at the thought*

I liken it to sports superstitions - there's alwaysthe ball player who wears his "lucky socks" for the game. Consciously, you know it doesn't help, but somehow your deeper psyche has come to rely on those socks. I had one customer who brought me ten tissues and insisted I used each one. Whatever makes them happy

I always tell customers this (about the +25 cap) but at least 6 times out of 10 it does not dissuade them. And actually, I fully understand this. If I were not a tailor, I'd probably want the same thing. If you have the money, why not just get all your clothing bio enhanced? gives you a lot more options later on when deciding what to wear.

One guy last night asked me to make him a "bunch of bio enhanced jacket/shirt/pants" combinations. He just simply said that he liked changing up his look, didn't get around to going to tailors that often, and allowed me choose colors/styles etc. His only guidance was "try to keep it under 500k" rofl. I made him up a total of 8 pieces and charged him 80k and he actually argued a bit, feeling he should pay more, lol.
