Thread: Some secret to getting four sockets?

I have been trying to get 4 sockets on crafters pants and can only seem to get to 3. Is there something I am missing regarding getting 4 sockets?

Are you master? Otherwise, there really is no secret, it's random.

I've tried it with 12pt and without and sometimes I get more 4 socket items with it on and sometimes I get more 4 socket items without it on!
Sometimes I get more 4 sockets when sat next to my 42 crafting station and sometimes I get more 4 sockets in the middle of nowhere (well ok, by my factories without a crafting station droid with me).
I've not been able to see any pattern to it so far
But sometimes /emote prays to the tailoring goddess works

I always get 4 sockets when I least expect it, and never when I need it O.o

Everybody says It's completely random, and that may be. But since I became a 12pt tailor, I get four sockets 4-5 times in a row when making a garment.

well i can get 4 sockets on many items, just not on crafter's pants, lol!
I am three boxes away from master, so maybe that has something to do with it, somehow I doubt it though

I got a request the other day from a customer for 10 items and he wanted each item to have 4 sockets.
Well to make a long story short, After crafting for 3 hours I was able to get all 10 items with 4 sockets. I will never again agree to do something like that again!!
My Index finger is numb from all the clicking! LOL

It's weird, no matter if I wear my "tailoring outfit" that has mods to it or not, somedays I can craft several things in a row that will result in 4 sockets on the first try And other days, its all low end numbers and I have to try several times *shrug* very random indeed

I got an 8 item four socket order the other day too and I will also NEVER accept one of those again.The same day I also got an order for a ribbed shirt in every colour. I said yes thinking it wasnt so bad until I realised he wanted not just every colour but every shade! Must have been something in the air that day....
