Thread: Some secret to getting four sockets?

With my +25 tailor Assembly shirt, and +25 Tailor exp shirt, I hit 4 sockets almost every time.
I have over 25 for assembly... I wonder if having the exp is more important for getting sockets?
Maybe I should try to get some exp tapes...

Its not but its good luck! hehe sorry about that. only thing that effects the number of sockets is the assembly.
Also I found that if you stand near a home crafting station not a droid I tend to get 4 sockets more often. but as always luck is a hige factor.

I got a request the other day from a customer for 10 items and he wanted each item to have 4 sockets.
Well to make a long story short, After crafting for 3 hours I was able to get all 10 items with 4 sockets. I will never again agree to do something like that again!!
My Index finger is numb from all the clicking! LOL

I came up with a new policy the other night that my customer thought was quite equitable when i got a socket request order. I said for each item i will make TEN (10) attempts at getting 4 sockets and then will give up on that item. I give a price per item that i will charge ahead of time, and to prove that i'm not cheating i give them EVERY item i make, and say "feel free to keep, destroy, or resell the spare items they are yours you paid for them!"
the customer thought this was very fair - and tipped me an extra 15k after i completed his order ![]()

The same day I also got an order for a ribbed shirt in every colour. I said yes thinking it wasnt so bad until I realised he wanted not just every colour but every shade! Must have been something in the air that day....Message Edited by Bacajow on 03-27-2005 11:55 PM
Bacajow, I think you should refrain from accepting orders on Muon, it seems to be severely impariging your judgement.
