After looking through all the schematics I couldent find a single new item
I hope they add some before this goes live but I'm not seeing any as of now.

Well to be honest I wasn't expecting any. It is a combat update after all which doesn't really need new clothing.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love new clothing schematics, but they seem more likely to appear after the CURB when they work on the non-combat profs.

I wasn't exspecting a single item either.
This is for combat professions, not craft
I do however think we need to see what BE clothing does now, make sure it isnt broken.
And socketing, make sure it didnt go way of the skirt and be just a number on an item.

Well I ground out tailor in 2 days for the last beta, JTL, because I knew there would be clothing to test, and I luv you guys. (Of course, they decided to put skills on the frogs the next day, even though we were told that it wasn't going to happen. I'm not bitter or anything.)
Don't hate me, though, but I'm not grinding out tailor again. I suspect that crafting *will* need to be tested (weapons, armor, etc) and at that point we will get frogs. This is purely speculation, but logical.
When/if we get frogs, I want every tailor who can to run over to TC-pi to make sure that they didn't break anything.

Even without frogs I am preparing. I already have a headquarters for Team Hawtpants in a quiet little area of Talus away from all the /duel monkeys in the populated areas and I am currently mining radioactives to get geared up to do some serious mining.
I do not expect anyone to grind up tailor though. I think it is a waste of time at this point of testing.

though not surprised with 'what has happened'
I am definatly dissappointed.
I am sure LA has alot to do with this, they want it out with the movie, they have the pull and clout to do so.
But I think that SOE is cramming too much in without forthought.
Allowing such a open test *cough* without guidelines...
Look I don't miss playing Everquest, it was something that had bugs from day one
and broken missions and more stuff was added to keep you from thinking about it.

Dipping trash in gold platemakes it looks nice but the smell will come through eventually.

It's probably still a waste (like n'Jessi said, they'll probably go full-frog eventually) but I'd be willing to grind up a Master if we need one. Anyone know if they've posted a general testing strategy? Any plans to wipe characters every other day?

I am not sure. That is why I am notgrinding a tailor yet. I don't want to get half-way there and then have a character wipe.

From what I've read you cannot become a tailor at the moment because there are no elite trainers about right now, they want to test the starter professions first. Tiggs has said the blue frogs will be able to be used for elite professions later on in the testing. They are already in place for healing, weapons, mounts and money.
I'm not sure if that only applies to the combat profs or all of them, I'll see if the tailor trainer is about next time I go in

No professions were on the frogs last night. I wouldn't worry about it yet unless you want to test out the new combat system.

I wasn't expecting clothes either. They said when they first started the CU that it would solely focus on the combat professions. Once it was complete then they would begin working on the the non-combat professions. So we'll get our turn we just have to wait.
