Thread: Can crates be made of BE enhanced cloths?

I do this all the time too. As soon as I get my factory crates of tissues I turn around and make a Synthetic Cloth or Reinforced Fiber Panel schematic and throw it in my factory so it's all ready to go. It's so much easier this way and yes they come in crates of 25, not 50

I did this once and hoped that the stats would stack when I had to use several identical cloths, but they don't.

Speaking of BE enhancements, is there a limit to what you can put on an item corresponding to tailoring level? I had two clothes that were +15 wound healing dance/music and put them in a pair of hotpant, in the end the hotpants were +25 WH. I expected it to be +30.

Not only can you do it, but you should do it since you're selling to tailors. If you dont' do it, we have to. I always take the crates of tissues and use them as components for crates of cloth, which we HAVE to make if we're to make a piece of BE clothing that requires factory made cloth (and many, many of them--most, really--do).

Also, the +25 limit on the hotpants reflects the +25 skill mod cap which is currently in place. You can't go over +25, so the garment doesn't list the skill as exceeding +25. The higher plusses from stacked clothing listed in your skill mods are a bug. +25 is the cap.

One thing I do to cut down on BE tissue cost is to buy the synth cloth ones (injury/wound and entertainer tissues) in crates of +17 and also +8, combined to get +25. A master BE should be able to hit these numbers.

I am a master BE as well as an aspiring tailor. I would like to be able to crank out a crate of BE tissues, create a schematic, then crank out a crate of BE enhanced tissues (a crate of 48 or 49 b/c I used 1 enhancement for the schematic). Is this possible?

I would also like to point out that you guys are MUCH nicer than other boards I've frequented (I won't name specific ones).

Yes, I do it all the time but the synthetic cloth and the reinforced comes in crates of 25 not 50!

Hope this helps

lol, Crudson, uh, no you don't (use +8 and +17 tissues to save money). Of course the +17 tissues are the most expensive that you could buy, but +8 tissues would also be just as expensive. The very idea of a +8 medical tissue is just silly. Why? Because a BE would have to use his/her very very best materials to make such a tissue. The types of materials you come across once in a blue moon and certainly wouldn't waste on a "basic" tissue.

A much more reasonable thing to do is to stock +13 tissues. A BE (doesn't even need to be master) can hit +13 with so-so materials which are much cheaper to make and should be much cheaper to buy.

I regulary make runs of 150-200 be enhanced cloth and reinforced fibre panels..just don't take 'em out of the crate because there is supposed to be some bug in place that would result in the cloth you've taken out of the crate to loose it's bonus.

Nope.

Firstly my BE charges differently for active and passive tissues. Cost difference is quite significant. This is a fact.

Secondly just having +13s is weak; a lot of clothing takes just one SC and I can do these with the +17s, a 30% better stat.

+13 is weak, and that's exactly why they are good to stock (along with your +16 or +17 tissues). I've been a BE for 5 months and made a ton of tissues and can tell you without hesitation that a +13 tissue is much much much cheaper to make then a +8 one. This is a fact. Ask any BE.
