Thread: Can crates be made of BE enhanced cloths?
Yeah, that's about it. It's why I prefer to get more than one crate of tissues with the same serial number at a time.
And yes, I nearly always immediately turn around and crank out crates of cloth, even if I suspect that I'm almost never going to need factory-identical cloth. It cuts the number of manual crafting steps in half. Which cuts the number of critical failures in half.

Nope.
Firstly my BE charges differently for active and passive tissues. Cost difference is quite significant. This is a fact.
Secondly just having +13s is weak; a lot of clothing takes just one SC and I can do these with the +17s, a 30% better stat.
I usually try to keep both around (although I have not seen any +17 lately). I get a BE friend to make me some +13 tissues out of cheap materials (hopefully Eimi will be able to do this soon!) to use in anything that has two synthetic cloth slots. I use the good stuff in anything that only has a single slot. Lately I have been using whatever I can get, though.
One thing that seems silly, but something that Splintt always does for me, is run schematics +1. He'll run 101 of Active biosensors. I end up with a run of 100 as opposed to 99. It's not a huge deal, but it's still a nice little present.
As for costs, because I work with Splintt as partners, I don't pay for any of my tissues, but I can tell you, when it comes to tissues, there's a range that's easy to hit with the right resources. I have to agree with Arthur on this, +8's can be more expensive to make than +17's.
