The colors I want added to the normal palette are:
- a true yellow
- a real white common to ALL palettes (not light green or light pink)
- a dark red
I would like to see the following items in the full palette
[]Everything we can make!
I would rather
[]have traditionally leather-palette items available in the normal palette

I want to be able to have any color of gloves/boots/belt. If I want to be colorful... I want all my accessories to be colorful. I had a smashing outfit of Bright Purple and Bright Orange Ribbed Pants/Shirt with a Bright Purple and Bright Orange Cold Weather Hat on chimaera. It was great..but I had to have black boots and I could only wear a certain type of glove to get purple gloves.
True white/yellow would be nice.
It would be nice if the colors could match and not always be "off" all the time between jackets/shirts/pants/gloves/boots/etc...
I'm not a tailor. I just want to paint the rainbow.

What I'd like to see is a little bar meter for each color on an item, allowing you to go from glossy to matte with any color, on any piece of clothing.
and...
The colors I want added to the normal palette are:
- Yellow
- Sparkly
- GlowInTheDark
I would like to see the following items in the full palette

I would like to change the
noble skirt: so the peach on the side pleats don't 'bleed through', muddling up any other color you try to change it.

I'd like to see every item we can make available in every pallet. Basically, I'd like to be able to choose what pallet I want to use for an item, and then make the item in those colors. I'd also like to see more metallic colors, and also some glittery, sparkling colors. ^_^

One nice thing the devs did for ID's a while ago was to attach numbers to the colors they use, but this has never been carried over to the other professions as we had suggested even way back then. As many ID's are also Tailors, we saw the obvious advantage that this would bring to Tailors as well as Armorsmiths.
What Ipropose isa universal numbered color palette that is used game wide by any profession that needs to choose colors. Basically every single color used in the game would be assigned a number & given a spot inthe universal palette, so that the same colors & numbers are ALWAYS in the same geographical spot on the palette forquick reference & easy use. Items that have restricted colors can have this represented by X'ing out the boxes where that color would normally be on items where it is allowed.
And also we should be able to examine a crafted item & see which colors/numbers were used so that we can colormatch new items for our customers, as we can currently do when performing Image Design.
Another thing that needs to be addressed is the preshading the devs have on some clothing items that cannot be removed & make colormatching other items downright impossible! This is very noticeable with most wookiee clothing items, although it may still be present with many other items.

I agree. I found SOME of the Wookiee items aren't that bad. But when you have jackets, shirts, and pants that use the same pallet but different shading, it doesn't match. At least, to me, Mr. Super-Picky. If I want a matching outfit, I want MATCHING...not a shade darker or shade lighter.

Lots of good ideas posted! Unfortunately, no matter what great colors we got, I still bet 75%+ of my custom business would be in black. *grumble, grumble*

The colors I want added to the normal palette are:
- A true yellow, not that ugly greenish looking one.
- A true black
- A true white (Really I'm pretty much satisfied with the full palette. I just want a true yellow.)
I would like to change the texture on [item] [describe what effect you want]
Most every item I would like to have more artistic liberty with. That way each tailor can make more signature designs.
I would like to see the following items in the full palette
[x]Everything we can make!
OR check all that apply below
[]Exotic Leotard
[]Boots
[]Selected Boots only (list) ______
[]Gloves
[]Selected gloves only(list) ______
[]Dusters
[]Cloak
[]Primary color of Smock
[]Primary Color of Desert Command Jacket
[]Luxurious Gown
[]Wookiee smock
[]All wookiee gear
[]Selected wookiee gear only (list) _____________
[]Secondary color on reinforced pants
[]Other
I would rather
[]have expanded colors on the normal palette OR
[]have traditionally leather-palette items available in the normal palette
I just want each item to share the same palette. It would make naming and matching colors so much more easier.

Many of you have raised the issue of ID's getting new colors and have suggested that we should also lobby for new colors. Now, you know, asking the devs is a tricky process. They have to be in the mood to listen. They may want it all lumped into a top 5. They may want to prioritize other professions, who are not as fortunate as we are. And we might want other issues looked at as more of a priority, when push comes to shove.
So the purpose of this "poll" is... suppose I'm sitting in my shop making some hawtpants (for an undisclosed correspondent who wanted some yesterday /wink)... and a dev walks by and asks me about colors. I'd like to be able to say "the colors we really want are X and Y" and not blubber something about polling.
So without further ado:
The colors I want added to the normal palette are:
- ______
