Thread: Let's discuss colors

The colors I want added to the normal palette are:
- A true Jet Black
- A Deep Blood Red
- Navy Blue - We have three bright blues and no Navy. (The Lux Gown would look wonderful in Navy.) IMO
I would like to change the texture on [item] [describe what effect you want]
- Rugged Jacket. This jacket rocks but it's texture makes it almost impossible to match sometimes. Get rid of the shiny and make it the same texture as either Striped Pants (denim) or Striped Slacks (more of a cotton).
- Infiltriator Leggings. If they don't want to make the full suit solid again at least give us these pants back in a SOLID color. They expaned any wardrobe so nicely and now they are simply overlooked as an option due to the hideous pattern. (Which I like on the suit, ironically.)

Thank youfor doing this poll This mightvery wellbe a good time to ask for a palette tweak if they're looking at the ID ones.
The colors I want added to the normal palette are:
- primary yellow
- more bright
- more more bright
I would like to change the texture on [item] [describe what effect you want]
Glossy, glittery, leathery, sequiny textures to put on anything would be nice
I would like to see the following items in the full palette

I would rather
[x]have traditionally leather-palette items available in the normal palette
They might be willing todo both if they ever tweak our palettes

- Whites that Match
- Black that is a bit darker andmatches the other blacks

Time for me to put in my 2 cents
The colors I want added to the normal palette are:
- _a true yellow__
- _deep red______
- _______
Strangely enough I'm not a fan of neon, but your wish is my command.

Those dang snakey patterns on the infiltrator gear. Yes I know that we looked nekked before, but maybe that could have been mitigated by less shading around the heiney region rather than the current mud splashes (which in some respects look more "scandalous" than the nekked gear). I would like a "glittery" texture so there is no doubt that it's not nekked, but it doesn't look so... snakey.

I was looking over this myself, and a little confused. The only thing I can think of is that the wookiee life day robes are the "big surprise." Still poking around behind the scenes to see where Anabelle left off (it's not like the devs hand you a list and say "this is what we're working on for your profession").

So few wookiee robes were handed out though. I know I was lucky enough to get some and I GAVE them all away to wookiees!

Exotic Leotard - Maybe a "glittery" look to it. Its texture can be of that padded armor's "shimmery" texture.
Grand Healer's Robe - Perhaps (just a thought) at the bottom-bottom of the robe, a glittery look.
The closest we get to "glittery" is the sleeves of the formfitting shirt, but I don't like that "scaley" look to it.

I have noticed that items that require a lot of hide have the leather-palette, and I completely agree with how some clothes have the leather-palette and others have the full palette. A pair of reinforced pants does not require any hide to make, and therefore, both colors on the pants should have the full palette. I see that if the main component of a certain item is hide, then the palette of the item should be the leather-palette. I wouldn't mind if the components / resourcesrequired on the itemschecked above require more fiberplast or inert petrochemical. The exotic leotard is in the formal wear line, and shouldn't be restricted to only hide-paletted colors.
On the new textures, I'd pick glittery. Perhaps anything requiring many crystalline gemstone (i.e. jewelry) qualifies to be "glittery".
Oooh, I just remembered one more thing. Dress shoes - they're my favorite item in the "footwear" category. I like to call them "short boots". I've noticed that every color I pick on the palette goes through a black prism, they tend to have a black tint to it no matter which color I pick, and I don't like that. If I want dress shoes, then I want them white, not a "blackish white".

Also, if we lobby for leather palette changing, do we also want to lobby for full palette for metal(even though the one we have now is nice, we do have full palette on some jewelry - so why not, eh?)
Yes! At least an increased pallete on metal. I tried to get a purplebuckle on a thin pleated skirt the other day to match somepurple and lavender ensembles the other day, and we don't have purple metal.
And it really bothers me that some necklaces take some colors too dark, even if you choose the lightest shade. And bands take the colors like a pale wash. Which I guess doesn't matter since they don't show on the avatar anyway, but still. 
Ooooh! And I would just die to have the Dress Robe palette available on more things too! It's texture and colors are soooo luxurious.

Yes, when I was picturing the dark blues and dark reds that you all were describing, the dress robe palette was what I was envisioning.

- As close to True Black as possible without animation issues (I did my homework

- An UNTINTED White
- Pure Yellow (many customers are dissopointed)

The new and "improved" infiltrator leggings. These used to be a nice item but now they are hideous (IMO). Perhaps they could change the pattern to a "fishnet" look or a subtle criss-cross hatched pattern. I understand the reason for the change, but honestly the pattern looks more like a diagram of the female reproductive system now.
