Well after almost 600 days as a Tailor,

And knowing what pains everyone goes thru for a 'craft outfit'

Seeking the SEAs, finding clothes with sockets....


I am able to cross mine off my 'to do ingame' list


3 weeks of posting and proding and seeking and lurking


I now have my very own *gasp*

+25 Clothing Assembly


+25 Clothing Experimentation


+25 Clothing Repair

Outfit for Tailoring.


And it's priceless..


I mean c'mon who would want a craft outfit for Tailor right?

Nice

ive got +25 Assembly

+21 experiment

and 0 repair (never thought to get this one to be honest, but with the 0 condition to be fixed sooner or later you raise a good point in this)

Yup exactky why I wanted the outfit,
hopefully with all to come

ass/exp/rep WILL Matter for Tailors to the degree it does for say perhaps a Chef.


Mind I like we do not need stats to craft quality clothing,
but I do remember the first time I made a 1000 cond item (instead of a 100 conditem)by experimenting while crafting.

Man was that ever ages ago...


Having the oufit goes with my 'have it before you need it' way I play,

andI hope whatever changes come that it does not become yet another museum peice for any of us.

Working on my own suit now and its rather hard to get people who sell these are they think they are worthless lol

Yes and No


You can make a suit with any bonus as high as you want to,
BUT you will only receive the benifits of the mods up to +25.


So going above and beyond +25 is a bit of a waste.


Each 10 extra skills points in expeirment gives you 1 extra experimentation bar,
(yes 20 will do just fine but we all try and get the 25 max ...just in case)
which is why you may see folks saying they are 12 point crafters (WS and Chefs and AS)
being master gives you the first 10, SEAs make it able to tack on 2 more.


The +25 goes for any bonus btw, not just SEAs,
BE mods placed in clothing will give you the benifit of only the first 25
Which is why we Tailors get so many requests for Max Clothing (and alot doesn't allow max in one item)

they can be 14pt actually, at master they have 115 artisan experimentation, +25 = 140, thats 14point artisan

I have seven Clothing Experimentation: 1 clothing attachments. How many more do I need to become a 12pt tailor?

13 more at least , but allthe the +1s cannot all be worn at same time.

You will want at least 20 points total from the attachements,

but you have to be able to wear them all at once


with only 1 type of attachement in each item you'll want to find around +3 or higher
if you really want to sink time into creating a craft outfit


shirt

jacket/vest/robe

pants/skirt

footwear

headwear

handwear

belt

bandolier


so with 8 slots we can put on to hold mods {and of course less for certain species }

+1 will help but won't get you to 20 or 25


EDIT: my own suit is {Ass/Exp/Rep}

Crafters apron {5/5/5}

Headwrap {9/8/7}

Small Bustier {4/5/4}

Shorts {4/4/4}

Sandles {4/3/4}

Gloves {0/0/3}
(didn't want gloves but my Rep SEAs were all smaller so ended up with a odd out +3 that had to go somewhere,
still looking for a +5 or6 one so I can overwrite a small one and not have gloves)

Thanks I couldn't actually remeber if it was 10 or 15 they were 'born' with.
