Again, two people today bought 3 of my 25 injury/treatment clothes each... You'll tell me, I shouldn't complain, but I am getting tired of having to restock the same things and run after tissues all the time just because of people's ignorance. How can docs still not know that there is a cap is beyond me, as it's so easy to test...
That was just my rant for the day lol.

wow! this is the first thread i have seen where someone complains about someone purchasing items on their vendor! lol!
who cares if he bought more than one, you got paid right?
some guy entered my vendor and pruchased every piece of "HOTPANTS" that i had, i didnt complain, i got paid for it,
and that is all that matters.

For someone who can makemillions ofcredits in an hour, what's the harm in spending 100k or so on a +90 medic suit, when he/she can hold that over any other buffing docs in the area?

Well... because your maximum bonus for a single statis +25 overall. So even if you have three different pieces that grant +25, your final bonus will still be +25 and not +75.
Normally I don't mind when people buy lots of things from my clothing vendor, but with the rarity of BE tissue suppliers on my server, I too find it annoying when people buy multiple pieces from my BE vendor. Some people even try to return them at a later date after they've found out about the cap. Gah.

For most of us, it's not about "getting paid". After you've made your millions you are not spending time putting things on your vendor or doing a custom order just simply in hopes that the next day your account will show a higher number than it did the day before. I don't know about the rest of you, but Iget most of my satisfaction from situations like running into a customer ofmine at a starport weeks later, and seeing them wearing the clothing thatI worked on for them. Or seeing a customer using a pet thatI made for them in some ferocious battle. I get a lot more satisfaction out of that then simply hearing the cash register going cha-ching after a sale. And if I made 3 +25 medical items, I'll feel much much better about it seeing them on 3 different doctors all wearing them, then if I one of the items on one doctor, and the other two in a dumpster.
I believe that's what Songe is talking about. Feeling that the efforts to make that clothing were wasted since they may not be of any use to the person that bought them.

Yeah, that and trying to keep a good selection on the vendor. Kinda like one person buys 600 of my stims or 50 of my buff packs, lol. Yeah, I got paid... But when you have other 200 million it's not exactly what you care about anymore.

I've told so many folks about the cap and they usually just buy extra anyway, refusing to accept it. In fact, I've gotten so many requests I've just started stocking +100 suits on my vendor.
...although, now that I think about it, I should include a warning about the cap in the item's description.

Maybe for different looks?
Mai bought 3 trader suit from a BE/Tailor before with 25+ each - just because Mai wanted to have different looks - don't like the same all the time
They are the same but different colors by the way...

Ahnm.... i have about 4 outfits with the combo +25 Tame / +25 Maskscent.
Do you want to run about in the same stuff, everyday.....
Green Camo looks bad on Tatooine.....and so on....

I had someone do that to me on my server too! I got an email afterwords that said 'Don't ask'..

There was an AFK spammer a few weeks ago that was advertising he had +100 Injury/Wound Treatment Outfits on his vendor... I wanted to tell him he was an idiot, but I guess he's making his money... scamming people... but he was AFK anyway. (by the way, on Bloodfin we have a lot of people doing professions they have no business doing).
ArthurDent, I know what you mean. I like going into cantinas and /open-ing up people and seeing whose clothes they're wearing... because sometimes they're mine!
Songe, I hear ya. This one guy came in my shop and bought almost 100k worth of clothes. At first I was worried he was going to resale them, but upon talking to him, I found out he was dressing his and his alt's vendors. I was very falttered that he would be showcasing my clothing, but damn! I had to restock! Same thing when I first put my Black & White vendor outside of Bestine. Some guy came by and seriously almost bought me out of my solid black clothing. That's great he's buying my stuff, but damn! I had to restock after the first day!
