(This is a copy of the list I just posted on the private corespondant forums, I'm very happy with what is going on in there!)

This thread is to report and catalog any TECHNICAL bugs that have arisen regarding tailoring. This should not include such things that effect game balance or are hopes for added features (like the removal of durability or the want of more schematics). There will be a different thread for those.

Here is a current list of Major Technical Issues that still need to be addressed (#1 being highest priority):

1) Tailoring and Armor Smithing. There is an error when you interact with a public or private crafting station and you have mastered tailoring and have at least Novice Armor Smithing. The tool will report an error that no schematics exist. The Tool functions fine if away from the influence of a craft station.

2) Necklaces only are visible while either dropped on the ground or worn. This makes it impossible to craft or choose a style while within the game.

3) Miss-Assignment of Colors. Certain schematics do not assign colors correctly to items allowing for the majority of the item to remain unaffected by the customization. Schematics include:
Pocketed Shorts
Desert Crawlers
Sigiled Waist Wrap
Dress Uniform Jacket
Thin Pleated Skirt
Simple Waist Wrap
Luxurious Gown

4) Clothing Not Equipping with Backpacks. Certain articles of clothing other than bandolier will not equip with a Backpack on. While this may be a feature it is embarasing to be reduced to your underwear trying this on for the first time and you pack won't unequip. This includes:
Grand Healers Robe
Grand Ball Gown
Luxurious Gown

5) Clothing Color Pallet Displaying White as only option for color 1 or 2 depending. This Includes:
Fighter Flight Suit
Heavy Flight Suit
Trader Flight Suit
Transport Flight Suit
Luxurious Gown
Pleated Dress
Light Bustier
Ammo Bandolier

6) Certain Items are erroneously placed on the sort, lumped into a 'miscellaneous’ category instead of having their own. This includes:
Long Gloves of all Types should be under 'handwear'
Skirts of all Types should have a 'skirt' catagory
Gunman's Duster is not a Robe
Smocks are Not a Dress
Exotic Leotard is Not a Dress

7) Graphical Glitches. These items are glitches visual appearance in some way.
Immense Gemstone Necklace + Exotic Leotard / Flesh Wrap = Missing Chest area.
Low Cut Top has a dent in left side of exposed torso area.
Lekku Ys'rak and Twi'lek Noble's Crest display a white scalp patch on Males
Revealing Metal Bikini has a white blotch on the Left cup
The derrierShows through when wearing pullovers and very aparent and embarasingwhen bending over in a grand healers robe!
Back of Decoritive Dress shows legs when running around.
Rebel Marine Backpack does not show up when wearing with Gunman's Duster
Necklaces for the most part do not fit well around the neck and often float.

Belts and Bandoliersin general do not fit correctly around the waist, usually looking very bulky or floating inches away from the waist. They also expand to wear over the jacket where they should wear under the jacket or robe or fit snug instead of bulky.

8) Eronious Race Restrictions. The Grand Healers Robe will not wear with a Bothan, Trandoshanor Rodian Female.

9) Cargo Pockets.Ones that are Crafted do not have any storage ability. Dropped Cargo Pockets can not be crafted with. Bandoliers crafted with cargo pockets do not have any storage.

10) Certain Items award GCXP instead of TXP. Certain Tailor skill items do not award the proper xp.They are as follows:
High Quality Boots
Large Headwrap
Sunguard
Warm Hat
Wookiee Battle Padding
Wookiee Traveler's Helm

11) No Sockets. Certain items, no matter how many times we craft them, do not produce sockets.
High Quality Boots
Doctor's Dress
Light Bustier
Traders Flight Suit

12) Typos. Here is a list of various typos or text issues regarding tailor or clothing items.
"Fasionably Pleated Skirt" should be "Fashionably Pleated Skirt."
"Patterened" should be "Patterned" in the Patterened Slip Dress and Patterened Wookiee Gloves.

Please add to this if you come across more!

*hugs*

I encountered an issue the other day. After choosing the schematic and putting in the required resources I hit enter and the item was crafted. That brought me to the create prototype/schematic screen. I hit enter again to create a prototype, but I accidentially hit it twice. Instead of going to the next screen it stayed at the prototype/schematic screen. I could not get out of this screen. I mouse clicked on the both protytype and schematic buttons but they did nothing. I had to cancel out of the crafting session and lost all of the resources. It's my own fault for going too fast, but it seems like some type of technical glitch.

Had this happen to me once or thrice too -- Not enough to make it a real resource drainer, just enough to be annoying.

One more: Usage experience. We only gain usage exp while online. I haven't tested thoroughly what happens when someone uses a consumable subcomponent we made; it's possible that then we gain exp whether online or not (as other professions do... tested this with my husband's bio-engineer character). But I have determined quite soundly that we gain usage exp for clothes while online, but not while offline. This is really hurting my electric bill... costs money to run the computer while I'm at work all day, so I can be online AFK gaining exp. ;-)

I'm not sure if you consider these 'bug's or not, but here are a few random things I've noticed:

Jackets cannot be worn with bodysuits... seems like an unnecessary restriction.

Long Gloves (many types) cannot be worn with jackets.

Theres one more issue,

when u try to place Reinforced Fiber Panels into Pants, which were enhanced with an Biological Item made by a Bioeng, it has no effekt to the pants. It dissapears.

Im not sure if thats caused by the bio item and so by the bugged Bioeng or if its a problem of the Tailor.

I've found that the legs poke through the Two-Tone Formal Skirt as well, both when running and when sitting (with legs crossed).

Graphical Glitches:

Tech pack, when worn by alot of females, "attaches" to the back of the arms, instead of just the back. This results in the pack deforming when the arms move.

I know this happens with my Twi-lek female, and I've seen it work right on a few males, not sure the full breakdown of who this is broken for, and who it isn't.

Tech Pack is broken for Human Females too. (I actually thought the deformation was by design until I saw one being worn by a male....)

Amending to say: I haven't actually worn a Tech Pack in a very long time, so it may very well be fixed now. I just remembered how it used to look, and not ever having seen a patch note indicating a fix....
