Thread: Trying to assemble a list of the clothing items that eat the Bio Mods.
Tonight, I found that the paramilitray camo's eat the mods, no stat bonus on end product.
The reinforced Pants also eat the mods, nostat bonus on clothing, although it takes 2 reinforced panels to make. They may cancel eachother?
The wookie shoulderpad eats the mods, nostat bonus on item.
Pleas eadd to this list any and all items that you are aware of that eat the mods. Could save a few credits.
I tried making a Smock (requires 3 synthetic cloth, not identical) and 2 of the cloths had +10 Wound Healing (would =20 in the final product)
When I was done, there were no stats at all. I was majorly bummed and now am too scared to try making anything else requiring multiple cloths.
If the cloth is factory made, will the mods show up?
To the second poster, I'm not sure what happened, I've never heard of such a problem, except that at the moment the mods of only one tissue are supposed to show.
To the first one, read all the posts already made on the subject, there are no items that eat mods.
Even when I drag and drop the bio components in the proper slots the reinforced pants have no stat bonuses at the completion stage.
So yes Items do eat bio mods.
I haven't had any problems making these.
Make sure to drop the enhanced cloth in LAST. Call me superstitous but it works for me.
Yeah I have had no problems either and have been doing Buffed clothing for about a montyh now.
The only time I lost a buff was due to a crit failure.
I have made every item that can be buffed with all different tissues.
Even the (never sold) warm hat
They are new cloths made this week.
I havn't been adding the enhanced cloths last, This could be where and why I'm failing.
Thanks for the help. I'll try this evening again.
I havn't had a single problem ever since I started taking the tissue enhanced panels/cloths out of their crates before crafting.
And I add em before other resources, after other resources, in the middle of other resources, all with no problems. (I have modded paramilitary camo's (meleedef, warcry, bleed, medic, camo) on my vendor as we speak)
Wookie shoulderpads work for me too.
really I don't know why some people continue to have probems, we must be doing something different but damned if I know what
.
With multiple synth slots make sure that modded cloth comes after any non-modded cloth. I had a sunguard not show up stats, and I believe it was due to the second synth slot (x2 factory) overriding the first single.
