1 year, 3 months..
I didn't grind it out. I played casually, only earning xp when I made something that was ordered by customers. I was out hunting most of the time, getting established on the server, learning the ropes of BE tailoring, etc.

The longest it took me was 2 months when the game first released.
The shortest: 2 frantic days of grinding to get master tailor on JTL beta to test out the Ithorian wearables. The next day the devs reconsidered frog-skills and gave out non-pilot non-shipwright skills on the frog. My brain hurt.

Took me about 3 weeks I think, maybe 4. I believe it can be done in a full day of grinding but thats not my thing.

About 2-3 months when the game first came out. I didn't think about (or know nuts about) grinding so I did it fairly casually. Sold a lot of clothes on the bazaar. Those were really fun days

Less than a week - a few evenings of grinding like hell with crafting macro.
I hate doing that, but I wanted to have the full palette of colors and clothes before starting business.

Let's see: June 26 to August 7. That's 5 + 31 + 7 = 43 days, but Intrepid wasn't a launch server. Let's say 5 weeks.
That's without large harvesters, grinding macros, or (for the most part) Practice mode, but with the lowered factory XP. I didn't get much if any points from the full factory XP time. Always on vacation during the 'good stuff'.

Couple of months, but then I didn't realise what the pratice mode was to begin with! I gave out really cheap or free clothing in Coronet Cantina to the entertainers(I mastered Dancer in there)and threw everything else onto Coro bazaar to sell
