about 2 weeks, oh so many years ago. I do remember selling so many items on the bazaar in those early days. I think I actually mastered on the July 5th right after release. Anyone from around back them might even remember the original clothing expermentation that didn't work.

there was no practice mode first time i did it (may have been added when i was near master, i dont remember, i didnt understand what it was at first anyway either)
And i didnt use macro's either time
I dont know why, but anything that makes the game easier makes me feel like i cheat, so i dont do it, did dancer the first time un-macro'd (only used macro's once master so i could talk easier) did ID unmacro'd etc.

it took me 3 months running a macro, but i didn't have a big loop macro and i would get distracted by guild chat, so i could have done it faster if i didn't like to talk so much.

I'll let you know when Bienurdau makes master....however please do not hold your breath while you wait.
I hate to grind, I consider it a waste of resources and time. So I make just enough to fill my 24 slots on the bazaar and keep a few items on my vendor. Thus in all likelihood it will take me a long long time.......

It took me 6 weeks - and most of my grinding was done while running artisan missions to make enough money to pay for everything I was doing.

Wait, what year is it?
I started playing in September of 2003. I came into the game knowing I was going to be a tailor. Grinding appealed to me not at all, but I figured it wouldn't really take me that long. Wrong. I'm 1/3/2/2. Granted, I've done a lot of hunting and exploring, I mastered merchant and artisan (neither of which were hard) and I'm 0/0/2/0 in pistoleer. I generally log in for at least an hour a day, and when I first began I was prolly hitting about 4 hours a night. The really sad thing is, I had two rules going into this: no grinding or wearing clothes I couldn't make, and I've broken them both. A guildmate needed crates of RFP, so I ground through fieldwear 3. Then another guildmate needed trim, so I ground up formalwear. And it's a good thing too, 'cuz otherwise, what would I be making now? But I got the casual wear box and the experimentation boxes on my own!
Couldn't take my own outfits anymore and had to go buy something scandalous not too long ago. Due to various RL and guild issues, the last few months I've really never left my house - simply sat in the basement making clothes. I've adopted a new business model - no relisting. If if doesn't sell, it goes poof. I'm finishing this profession if it kills me - though I must say grinding is starting to look awfully appealing...

It was my second holo profession, gathered all resources ahead of time,
and 1 night (8 straight hours of play)
and to those who ground sounds like you need a better ingame macro

Two months of evenings and weekends. I ran a survey macro during the night while I slept to gather resources and then made clothes the next day until my resources were gone. Sold lots of stuff on the bazaar to finance my training. Those were the good old days...

I made one of everything in each new box and then the ones that followed until I knew the entire data pad for tailor. I was once so eager, lol.
