So we got HUGE crafters nerf in CU, i think Tailor SP requirements must be low as Image desighner or Politic .... or it was realy difficult find M.tailor around.

Yeah, honestly I might be switching back to tailor. Once I was an armorsmith/tailor, but I dabbled (master fencer) in a combat profession. Well, I guess as a master fencer I won't be really doing much. I won't even start on armor. Shrug. If I got a respect I'd definately pick up tailor again.

Sorry, still not seeing this HUGE nerf you are on about. Sure with the combat changes resource gathering will be a problem for some tailors but tailors are a LOT more than just resource gathering.
We are one of the least hit professions in the CU and asking for a skill points reduction is really insulting. Maybe if you took the time to form good relationships with the tailors on Farstar you wouldn't have problems finding them.

Ah, so you want a skill point reduction so you don't need to work with other players *sigh* You don't want it for the good of tailors, just you

For awhileI was worried that as a crafter I would have it particularly bad, but I decided to test some combat too. After all I do have a combat character (and even a jedi) and I enjoy doing combat sometimes (just not all the time). What I discovered was that there is still some balancing to do and we are not getting "nerfed" more than anyone else right now. I think that once the basic PvE balance problems are worked out (which they will be) along withone of the proposals to help non-combat people that Blixdev mentioned getting implimented that we will be fine. It may take some adjustment but I don't see us staying one-shot killed for an extended amount of time.

Yes, he is overreacting. I don't think tailors need any skill point reductions like ID.
The # of skill points used for Tailor is perfectly fine.

Ok may be i'm wrong .. this my chaf crafter oriented (i have another one pure jedi/combat) and after CU i see craft go to be less fun .. simplifiing experementation for all prof, BE clothes nerf, realy tailor no more need experiments ... so no more challenge in this prof .... craft useless clothes ? not fun since people can wear 0 conditionwithout probs... This profession gotto be useless(fun) like ID.

I think we're just fine where we are, thanks. Tailors haven't had real experimentation for almost two years and it hasn't hurt my sales. Even the 0 condition hasn't been much of a problem, though I still want them to fix it so they stop working. (Actually, I'd fix it so they poofed, but that's just me.
The "challenge" of Tailoring has always been designing outfits that your customers love. As long as we are the ones who set clothing colors, that won't change.

Hmm. Not fun? Some of us tailors are "Fashion Tailors." We do it just for the fashion. Not the utility. No BE clothes. No armor padding components. No need for experimentation or crafting suits or FS enhanced skills or high quality resources. Just the fashion. To me, that's what's fun about being a tailor. Helping people find an outfit they like and that looks good on them.
I don't do BE clothes. I get plenty of sales anyway. Repeat customers too. Many people buy entire new wardrobes on a whim. Not everyone wears only clothing that applies some kind of skill bonus. Some people do wear it simply for fashion's sake.
And some people make the clothes for the same reason. Fashion. Not function.
