One of the things the playerbase most wanted gone with the curb was stacking so that more players could participate successfully in both pvp and pve on a relatively even playing field. Instead of being removed, stacking has been institutionalized now and forever. If you do not stack you have less health, less defenses, generally less accuracy, and certainly less flexibility in combat. This forever relegates players who wish to take part in pvp and pve as well as be crafters and/or entertainers to second class citizen status. Under these circumstances, all the crafts and entertainment professions should not cost any sp up to a maximum of two such professions per player.

Hey, if you're going to take the levels and combat system out of WoW, why not the structure of the crafting system as well.

Experimentation has been simplified for Armoursmiths, tailors can only experiment on one item, the wookiee armour padding.

Blix has said all but two of the BE tissue mods have been re-written, so that's a change not a nerf. We might even find that the new mods are more useful than the ones we have right now.

Tailoring is not, and will not become, useless. If it was you would be talking to an empty forum! If there were no tailors everyone would be walking around in their starter clothing, underwear or armour and I would hate to live in a galaxy like that.

Ok may be i'm wrong .. this my chaf crafter oriented (i have another one pure jedi/combat) and after CU i see craft go to be less fun .. simplifiing experementation for all prof, BE clothes nerf, realy tailor no more need experiments ... so no more challenge in this prof .... craft useless clothes ? not fun since people can wear 0 conditionwithout probs... This profession gotto be useless(fun) like ID.

i've never needed experimentation - my customers value my eye for fashion. i have a blast coming up with new color combos and piecing together items i've not seen worn together in ages. Tailor isn't a typical "crafting" profession - it is ART!!!!!

I do not support this idea.

If you reduce the sp cost of tailor, or any crafter, then you marginalize their value. You are saying that it is more important to be a combat person. If that's the case, this game SHOULD have been developed for the xbox or playstation. It was not. and the combat classes are based on 1/3rd of the novice skills. We have a lot of other reason to play, and not everyone wants to be a combat person.

I may be an exceptional case. I get resources from friends and guildies, and use my combat person to gather all the hides I could ever use. I want them to focus more on crafters in the coming months, not try and reduce us to part-combat people that have crafting skills. That will still make us just a lesser combat person that has other abilities. I want us to be CRAFTERS and leave the combat to those that fight.

I'm a Master Tailor/Master Dancer. I dance because I like the chatting and social aspects of the profession. I tailor because I love making people clothes. I love spending a half hour or more showing them different options, colour combinations, and seeing them have fun shopping with me.

Please don't take my professions and reduce them in value. Dropping the SP cost is doing just that. Add value to the profession instead of that.

So we got HUGE crafters nerf in CU, i think Tailor SP requirements must be low as Image desighner or Politic .... or it was realy difficult find M.tailor around.

So, you want a master of an elite crafting profession to take up the same amount of SP as politician?

Zero?

But... why?

As almost everyone has said so far, I see no nerf to tailor. It's unique amongst the craftnig professions in the type and variety of things you can make, even at low level.
