This is incredibly disturbing, and it looks like a growing bug over on the merchant board.

I have over 500 items on my main clothing vendor. After the big patch, I removed them all and relisted them to trigger the 30 day listings. Over the past few days, I have noticed BIG chunks of inventory disappearing. Over the past two days, about 200 items have disappeared - items I know were on my vendor last week, but not purchased.

Is this happening to anyone else?

For awhile, i was concerned that I had lost a large amount of inventory on a vendor I was using for storage.

I panicked for the first few days, then tried sitting infront of the vendor for about 10 minutes. Clicking on it after this, then selecting the vendor, then selecting ALL, my items re-appeared.

So try being infront of it, that may work for you as well.

I have so much clothing on my vendor I could be losing clothing all over the place and I wouldn't notice. I sure hope I'm not, takes a lot of work to fill a vendor.

You know, I think I might have lost some items as well. I know I was busy with RL and didn't restock for 1.5 weeks, but something seemed strange. Like one day I was bored and made long uniform gloves in probably 20-25 colors. The gloves are all gone now, and looking at my sales list they didn't all sell. From what my records show and where I think I was 2 weeks ago, I think around 100 items disappeared.

Not a good sign. /sigh

Okay, now I know some stuff did disappear.. I made some rather "creative" paramilitary camos that are no longer on my vendor and I know they didn't sell.

So very NOT good.

Oh, and I won't even mention the backpack chockfull of resources and factory crates that I dropped in my house but can no longer access. I can see it, but when I try to pick it up it says I can't see it.

This happened *after* I just got done setting up my new shop, so the new command to retrieve lost items isn't all that helpful.. I'd only have to pick up ~180 items before my errant backpack would be retrieved. I guess I'll see if my CS ticket gets responded to tomorrow.. otherwise I'll be forced to do it the long way. I had almost my entire stock of hides in that pack. /grumble

I guess I'm going to keep a close watch on my vendors.. which I am restocking now.. I wonder if that is such a great idea?

The backpack is probably considered to be sticking into another object. Try targeting it and /move back/forward to clear it from nearby objects.

Thanks.. but that doesn't work either. I can rotate it, but if I use /move I get "invalid location" error messages no matter what direction I try to move it. Last night I dropped it so I could finishing clearing out my old shop.. a while later I opened it and was able to retrieve 2 items before it "blinked" and moved. It appears to be stuck in the door somehow. I can target it, but it will disappear if I change my camera direction. Oh and it's floating in the middle of the room.. no other objects near it, just the door.

Oh, and items are definitely disappearing off vendors.. check out the merchant forum..

I pulled everything I had today and relisted them. From reading the merchant board,it looks like there might be a bug with the 30 day expiration code to make items disappear after 14 days.

The poor programming behind this game is amazing.. I try not to let it bother me, but losing 200,000+ credits worth of inventory makes it hard. All my items were relisted on new vendors yesterday.. I guess I will wait until next weekend and pull them out.. boy, isn't this fun?

ug... I got paranoid and checked my wookie wear vendor... empty. Nary a article of clothing. My other vendors seem to be unaffected, the bio wear vendor and the chitin vendor both fine I'm pretty sure, and the normal clothing vendor seems fine too (tho I could be bleeding items off it every day without noticing).

Just watch anything that's been on your vendors more than 14 days or so.. if you have high turnover then it probably won't effect you. I'm pretty sure I lost most of what I pulled and relisted when the 30 day limit went into effect (including some wacky camos and some other less popular items).

I'm still kinda bummed about the whole thing.. never mind having to spend extra time restocking. And relisting..

I haven't noticed anything disappearing, but i have 3 shops and can't remember what i stock at each one...BUT I have been getting auction unsuccessful notices, on stuff i listed AFTER the 30 day thing. So maybe it is taking them off after a week or 2.I hope that everyone knowsthat if you don't relist after about 2 days, stuff disappears. The nice thing is that you can relist from any of your vendors by clicking 'entire galaxy'.

Hope they get the 30day thing fixed, cause i am planning on fully stocking all my locations, and i don't want to have 200 auction unsuccessful mails in a week or 2.
