Alichai will be helping theTailor community by keeping us informed on the major issues with theTailor profession. Keep in mind, this title will be rotated monthly to take the stress off the current correspondent and to help us get the best feedback possible. ![]()
We'll announce when we're looking for the nextTailor Correspondent, but until then, help me welcome Alichai to his new rank!
Welcome Alichai, pls list your server, tailor level and what your first list of issues you'll be reporting will be, thanks :0)
Wow! Thanks Xahn ^_^
Hi everyone! How's it going for you all? I can't wait to get started with sorting out the most important issues with our profession. I would like to see tailoring be bothFUN and profitable in the short term, and still be something that you can stick with for the long term and continue to be challenged. I hope y'all share those goals!
I play as Alichai the tailor (surprise surprise) on Naboo, Chilastra. I live in a growing player city called Scomptown on the south bank of the huge lake west of Keren. I am a shameless non-grinder, so some of you master tailors will need to help me with the most glaring problems in the higher teirs of tailor. I have formal wear 1 & 2, and on my way to customization 1. Obviously I'm not in a huge hurry,so I dont know the specific problems with the advancedschematics, and thats where you guys come in =D
The first issues I will concentrate on are clothing decay, the lack of any reason to experiment, dividing up clothing categories on city bazaar, and hopefully get someclarifications about how uxp is working right now. I will probably post some sort of focus threads about those issues, (as well as one for broken schematics and colors) tomorrow. If you haev any other issues you would like to talk about, please let me know.
For the time-being, please feel free to contact me on this message board via email or on a thread. I would like to *generally* keep my in-game character seperate from all this unless its life or death ![]()
Thank you all again, and I look forward to working with you guys to make tailoring even more fun than it is now...
__Alichai__
Formal Tailor,
Scomptown Mayor
Naboo, Chilastra
Alichai Welcome, just some advice dont list your server, or your skill level I can see this might turn into a witch hunt already.
It does not matter what server your on or what skill level you have got to in this role, its a matter or understand the proffession. Also I would monitor the boards here but dont take it as the only word. People are very quick to moan and point out problems on these boards but rarely praise the good things. in fact you should also recall less than 5% of the people will read the boards let alone make comments.
You often learn more about the game just by playing it, and talking to the normal everyday customers not just the ones with the loud voices like me.
To everyone else recall Rome was not built in a day and dont expect a correspondent to be able to work magic overnight. Treat them as you would like to be treated yourself.
Thanks Kirranus, That is all great advice. I chose to post my name and server because I felt that it was only a matter of time until everyone found out anyways... particularly since I use the same name for my character ![]()
I figured it was better to get it out in the open! I will NEED the higher tailors to fill me in on issues anyways.
I am NOT a miracle worker however.. I promise to do the best job I can of putting a lot of information together into one place. That's all I really can do.
I will start to ask for specifics tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your support, and I hope we can all be courteous about this - we do all want the same thing, afterall=D

There you go....all you need to know is in that thread.
Welcome Alichai and good luck.
Knee-High GoGo boots, pajama's, nightshirts and gowns, maybe some Pink Bunny Slippers, and better color options.
The reason i asked for his skill level is so we can figure out his experience with buggy issues in the higher levels. The reason I asked his server is so if he was on mine (gorath) i could say hello. I'm sure he'll do a fine job and won't catch a lot of unnecessary flack.
Woohoo!!!
Now maybe the devs will start working on some of those tailoring issues. Welcome and good luck.
The tailor forums seem to be quite civil compared to some,I think you'll be relatively safe from flames at least.
Good luck - and fetch us decaying colours ![]()
Please fix bugged wookie colors, that issue is extremely high on my list!
