Well, except that I personally did not like the idea of bio-armor. When bio-enhancements started working, tailors finally had something unique we could sell that was not purely a luxury item. It was something that we could give people to wear that did something that armosmiths could not provide. Then suddenly armorsmiths could also make bio-enhanced items and make them in nice tailor-like colors at the same time. Its nice that we are able to make something truely useful in the game other than just provide cloth armorsmiths.
Armor with Bio-Tissue was severly imbalancing.
If it was left in I would imagine that the future changes to to the Bio-Tissue linethat has been hinted at in the past would have to be choked back and reworked so the game doesn't totaly to pot with ubergear.
Armor gets enough cool stuff with Segment and layer components drops off mobs, sockets now and even RIS.
Holy god, could you imagine RIS armor with a +25 Melee +25 stun defense bonus on top of it? *wince*

what we are asking is to get the components from the BEs and take them to Tailors to make the Panels so we can use them; thus, this would keep everyone in the loop! Tailors could charge an armor and a leg for these things and people would still buy them! WE DO NOT WANT TISSUES FOR ARMOR COMPONENTS we want the tailors to use the tissues to make panels for armorsmiths. Then the armorsmiths buy from the tailors
Makes no difference, either way it encourages people to buy armor over clothing. I didn't become a tailor to be a component supplier.
Hey... I got a new cool idea, how about making clothing give resistances!!!! yea, we buy the component from armorsmiths, and then put them into pants/shirts/jackets, and suddenly those clothes have resists to kinetic, energy etc.
How do you like that idea armorsmiths?
I know this will not come out the right way, but, in that case, how about they remove synthetic cloths, reinforced fibre panels, and fiberplast panels from armor schematics.
This isn't a flame or anything, but armorsmiths are the most interdependant class in the game, well, maybe docs come close also. We depend on scouts for our hides, and tailors for our cloths. We cannot make armor without these things. Tailors have hides... I'm not complaining as I've grown to like the inter dependance. I feel that an armor specific cloth would only help your profession, I would have no problem with clothes having some resists, as it would speed up the decay of your items, which is what most tailors have wanted all along isn't it?
I feel the same way. Armorsmiths would give Tailors Armor segments!
