Thread: BE Clothing Price Breakdown
Message Edited by Karriath on 08-07-2005 10:13 AM
I just bought a full outfit with five pieces and all had melee/range defense mods and I paid 100k for it all. So I guess 20k each item is what I got charged.
For items with Reinforced Fiber Panels, I charge:
Mod Price
+13 20k
+14 25k
+15 30k
+16 35k
+17 40k
+18 45k
For items with Synthetic Cloth I charge:
Mod Price
+15 15k
+25 30k
I've only just started using this system, so if anyone else has a better idea, please feel free to let me know!
I used to charge like this:
Sockets Price
0 20k
1 25k
230k
335k
4 40k
This pricing scheme no longer works for me as I have so many different tissues: It's not really sensible to charge 40k for a +13 Ranged/Melee top when I have a +16 Ranged/Melee top for the same price...

I just charge all bio clothing the same only difference is the amount of sockets
no sockets= 20k
1 socket= 22k
2 sockets = 24k
3 sockets = 26k
4 sockets = 28k
maybe I need to change my pricing ? I seen plp charge anywhere from 13k to 80k for bio clothes. I might have to think about a pricing system like Mae's
based upon the the stat itself. But it is an easy way of pricing and I can be quite lazy when it comes tp putting things on the vendor (very tedious)

for a shirt you need 1 RFP, for a spec ops duster you need 2 RFPs to get the same effect, or for a wooly shirt you need 5 or 6 SC to get +25, that's why i charge per each BE tissue i need + a price for 4 sockets + a basic price for the piece of cloth
I have only made shirts and bando's so far (newish to tailor) But i would charge more if i need to use more than 1 RFO or SC. In other words I agree with what your saying.

I charge per tissue use {what i pay for them}
and have never charged for sockets unless specifically ordered as sockets and I must attempt mulitple times.
wow!
Apparently I am not charging enough for my BE tissues! No wonder I have no credits...

Well .... so far I've just restocked with:
Mercenary Bandolier, Multipocket Bandolier, Two-Strap Bandolier, Fighter Flightsuit, Desert Command Jacket, Heavy Reinforced Jacket, Spec-Ops Duster, Crafter's Pants, Pocketed Shorts, Padded Workpants, Reinforced Pants, Infilitrator Leggings, Paramilitary Camos, Formfitting Undershirt, Lined Workshirt, Reinforced Work Shirt, Wookie Shoulder Pad, Ithorian Cargo Pants, Ithorian Supported Shirt
... and that's in the defensive line. Still got a few more items to do before I've restocked completely. ![]()
I'm just the tiniest bit fanatical about keeping a complete range on my vendor!
