Thread: Ok we have our BE clothing back....now lets get them fixed.
So the augmentation mod is broken...damn.
So the ranged/melee def mod is broken...damn.
So the choice of clothes for the decent mods is awful...damn.
Is it possible since theyve obviously just looked at the code to get these issues seen to?
They are after all working on "Fixes" atm and not new content and this has been needing fixing for a fair while.

Umm...well, those aren't the only ones. Unarmed damage, surveying, battle fatigue healing, and creature taming are also broken or useless.

lets look at it this way:
The BE part is working fine- they can craft wunnerful +18 tissue in bulk
The Tailor part is now working- we can sink tissue into cloths for clothes again
The Dev part is broken- a-yup sounds right to me ![]()

This is a little dated but I haven't seen anything to contradict it come out yet. Too bad we can't trust the devs to tell us if they fix something and we have to keep testing every publish.
With the bulk of the mods broken, the mods that people actually want, what is the point?
I'm getting asked by my customers for BE clothing now that the crafting process is fixed and as i'm a member of BEAST, my guild friends want some new taming and maskscent clothing - but there is no point in creating them, or is there?

Terrain negotiation and heal efficiency work well.
Problem is i dont have all the profs to test all the mods so best you can do is make one for someone to test it.
It's not like there is a tangable figure that you can see in the combat spam or anything.
Surely the results would just be open to personaly interpretation?

ok, not checked damage ammounts, but last night, the mods were adding to players mods in the character window, will check to see if mod is working damage wise tonight.

It's been stated by JFreeman that the fix was to an underlying utility function. Chances are they've not dusted off the BE code for quite some time

Craft it, sell it. People see the modifiers in the windows, they think they work, they are happy. If they work or not is hard to be tested, and you still can hope that if not working yet, they might get fixed in the next time. After all, the Devs at least promised that they'd do some serious bugfixing in the next publishes.
So, if you create the things, you can make both your purse and your customer happy, just go ahead.
(It's really like that, the non-working modifiers are shown in the skills tree and people believe that they work. On the contrary, the tested and working SL-modifiers for example show up nowhere and many people believe they don't work. Just use the psychological edge on having the things visible, it really helps everybody around... and tell yourself, you didn't cheat them, you just sold them things which probably will work perfectly fine soon...)
