Thread: Sorting is great... but.. (list of items that are sorting incorrectly)
Problems with the specific items sorting incorrectlyI've encountered so far:
Wookiee items sort to item types(gloves, headwear, etc)instead of to the Wookiee items catagory.
Smocks sort to the "dresses" catagory, very few men are ever going to look in the "dresses" catagory. They would be better suited to the "robes" catagory. The dresses catagoryshould bereserved for female only dresses.
Skirts need a sub catagory of their own instead of being lumped into misc.
Gunman's dusters need to go into the jackets catagory instead of into the robes catagory.
Long uniform gloves need to go into the "handwear" catagory instead of into misc.
Those are the ones that I found. Please add any other problems thatyou find.
I make sticky =D
Anyone have other items that sort incorrectly?
And where is OUR 5 things report back? Grrrrrr ![]()

Might the categories be related to slots? No explanation for wookiee items, but maybe items like cold-weather gloves are in the misc category rather than the handwear category because they have special rules about being equipped (the gloves under handwear can equipped with just about anything; the cold-weather gloves cannot).
And the cloak being under cloak... they did make that recent change where packs can't be equipped with cloaks, perhaps it relates to some kind of cloak slot with special rules. It doesn't seem real obvious for some (there are other items, I believe, that can't be equipped with packs) but maybe that's the logical basis for the categories.
Just a thought.
Obviously it was a guy who did the sorting. Skirts are not miscellaneous.
While I'm sure it will begood for sales on vendors and I was a big advocate of the whole concept. In the crafting tool? After trying to use it for a while, I don't just not like it, I hate it.
I liked the sorting by name too to be honest, was so much easier to find things. In bazaar though I agree that it's great.
And yeah skirts should have their own category ![]()
Ideally, we should have the option to sort by name or category in the crafting tool, like we can in other lists.
The categories wouldn't be so bad if they were done properly (see posts above).
The one really nice thing is I now have access to all the components without having to scroll or collapse anything. ![]()
I think wookie items should be put in their own category. Since they're exclusive to one race, one tends to deal with them separately from other clothing. Also, crested battle padding is a shirt? Not very intuitive.
I also agree the categories should start out collapsed, except for the one containing the last item crafted. Scrolling is worse than ever now. Would also support the option to list alphabetically, as it was before the patch, as an option -- there could be a 'views' button like in windows explorer that allows one to see different organization methods.
As interfaces go, it's still pretty bad, though the categories help a bit. I think the categories should be one-click buttons at the top that bring up the corresponding lists of items beneath them. No scrolling necessary. When you click another category button, the previous list goes away and the new one comes up. When you select an item, you enter the crafting screen as usual.

Ok already posted this on another threed but it seems more relevant here need to read more threads next time I guess
. Anyhow all my clothing that name has been changed is not showing up in clothing on the bazaar at all. Is anyone else having this problem?
Admin robes, councilman's robes, plain robes, and plain short robesall need to be moved to the ... robes catagory. They are currently listed as dresses.
Or they could keep all female only "robes" in the dresses catagory, so plain short robes could stay where it is. That one isonly equipable by women right? The others can be worn by men, I think?
