Thread: No hope for decay
I assumed they took the option out while they were working on it...the official word is no decay???
Then STOP decay on HOUSES, HARVESTERS, WEAPONS, ARMOR, etc....lets just make this like Everquest and make everything uniform and permanent.
That means that every tailor on every server will be gone in a few months. I can stock my store with 600 items, unlearn all the tailoring, and then play a BH I spose, but since I like crafting, I will probably quit.
Guys, I honestly think there is some miscommunication here. The devs know that tailors want clothes to decay and they have written back saying that they agree with you and plan to put it in the game. See the sticky thread ofdev issues.
What was removed today was the experiment option on clothes off the schematics. It wasn't used anyway. Just like decay was taken off med schamtics a few weeks ago.
It's very possible to have clothes decay in the game and not be able to experiment on the durability of clothing.
/sigh
And it happens again... The combat classes whine and complain, and the crafters get screwed.. I'm sorry, but hasn't anyone else noticed combatants are the only ones who EVER get attention? They even get their way when crafters are begging for the exact opposite, but of course, the combatants know better.
/rolleyes
I'm getting really tired of the unequality of this game. Crafters get told one thing, but since combatants don't want it that way something else happens instead. Even with the adition of the new non combatant missions terminals (*insert sarcastic laugh here*) non-combatants are basically ignored and screwed by the devs. If you don't want to fight, you can't enjoy the game.
This just proves no matter how nice we are, no matter how constructive our posts are, it doesn't matter what we want, it only matters what the combatants want. What really bugs me is the devs actually told us decay would be fixed, and instead they removed it completely.

Honestly, why would they put in the quote saying that due to overwealming, popular demand, clothing decay is removed? If they had intended to take it out while they worked on it to have it implimented, I seriosuly don't think they would have worded it that way.
