Rugged Jacket - Seems to behave like Dom Arts item for getting sockets (probably because it was moved to tailor)

Cargo Pocket - Crafted ones (componetns) share the same name as looted ones which work as containers!

A couple comments about these two:

I'vecrafted acargo pocket (at least once, maybe twice) and ended up withthe usually loot-onlycontainer...

I've noticed a few items behaving opposite the rugged jacket- they're in the Domestic Arts line, and give too few sockets. WIth Tailoring II, I should be getting 0-2 sockets on every Tailor item, and 3-4 on almost every Domestic Arts item. After making one of every DA item, I went back through and double checked the ones that had under 3 sockets, leaving me this list of possibly broken items:

Plain Short Robe (0, 0)
Wookie Hide Jerkin (0,0)
Casual Pants (1,1)
Casual Shoes (0,1,2)
Simple Shirt (0,1)
Leather Gloves (1,2)
Shortsleeve Jacket (1,2)
Maiden's Dress (0,2)

The numbers listed are the number of sockets on the two attempts. It doesn't seem very reasonable that I'd get that few twice, so it looks like these items have a problem.

I don't have a tactical skin suit available to test, but I'd bet it has the same equipping issues at the infiltrator suit. Could someone check and see if you can equip a jacket with it.

Ribbed Shirt - Gives more xp than supposed to?

I've tried this out this weekend (a lot ), but it seems to be fine. It takes 60 resources and gives 140 XP (147 XP when practicing). That's about 2 1/3 times resources, which seems about right.

In fact, taking a linear increase in XP-per-resource from 2 at novice artisan to 3 at master tailor like this:

2.0 - Novice Artisan
2.1 - Domestic 1
2.2 - Domestic 2
2.3 - Domestic 3
2.4 - Domestic 4
2.5 - Novice Tailor
2.6 - Tailor Level 1
2.7 - Tailor Level 2
2.8 - Tailor Level 3
2.9 - Tailor Level 4
3.0 - Master Tailor

That 140 XP seems to be too low, as you'd expect 150 XP for a Novice Tailor item taking 60 resources (60 * 2.5 = 150).

But then again I don't really get how the XP increase works, or is supposed to work, so maybe it is too high.

As just a general comment to toss out there, does anybody else think we've maybe got too many glove types?

For the life of me, I can't tell any visual difference between Leather Gloves, Link-Steel Reinforced Gloves, and the Artisan Leather Gloves. Am I missing some subtleties here?

Swoop Helm in Field 1 Seems to overlay a hue from one of the two color palettes, on the other. More so from one of the palettes than the other, can't remember which. So say when trying to do a Black/White Combo, or Vice Versa, one of the two colors will not look much like itself. Also, A bothan was able to wear it, not tryin gto get it taken from them, but with a rather long head, it looked very oval-ish on their head . . .at the same time was pleased that something I thought a race couldn't wear, could. So not really asking for it to be taken off that race or others, just a note about it is all.

And chiming in on the tipless gloves not really being tipless.

And on the alot of gloves can't be worn with jackets thing too (altho the cold weather ones, which CAN be fun colors like red/blue etc, CAN be worn with a vest, lol, the antithesis of cold weather wear . . .).

Not sure if anyone has mentioned the workman's gloves, which I just got, haven't tested them or the long leather gloves, which are flared as well, to see with jackets, as I 've kind of despaired of ANY going with jackets, even tho the other night I watched Empire Strikes Back and right off the bat noticed Luke wearing the Cold Weather Gloves, flared nicely to fit over his jacket, very bulky, look very familiar that jacket, hee.

Oh, and also on the tipless gloves, how deep purple Rodians like me they will never be "tipless" on because there is no color equivalent to my skin to make them look so. (Get requests for bloodred tips as well which we don't have)

(On another note let's start a Tailor thread about identifying clothes from the movies, that are in the game and who wears them . . . and clothes in the movies we don't have but would like!).

Another thought would be agreeing with someone mentioning a color numbering system to help us match things (I've sort of codged one together for myself and customers to try), they could eventually build one in. Shoot, wrong thread, I'll mention it in a more appropriate thread.

All the things I can think of except one appear to be mentioned. Apologies if this one is too.

I just made 5 traders flightsuits and got sockets on none of them. Only reason I really noticed was because the customer specifically asked for sockets so I was keeping close track of it.

If someone can comment and save me the trouble I'd love to know if this is a bug or just the computer rolled some really crappy numbers for me on the socket checks. Ifno one knows anything about this I'll craft some more tomorrow to check but I ran out of factory components to make them for tonight.

As an update I've yet to make a socketed doctors dress also.

One other quick question. With all the gloves looking pretty much exactly the same are we sure that one of the short gloves is not supposed to have a full color selection? Just wondering because it's such a pain in the butt to match gloves with so many things. Stupid yellow gloves never matching.

This isn't as important as most issues listed here. I want to be able to match colors better from item to item. Example: I made a burgundy duster last night and wanted to make a belt of the same color. The color pallet was different and I just couldn't match it for anything. It'd be so great if every item had the same pallet and colors were indicated by a number or code. IRL I do graphic design so unmatching colors annoys the crap out of me

Most important issue is defintely decay though.

Fix the way worn items look (i.e. belts too big, or mixing in and out with the duster.)

What's up with the infiltrator suit? I can't be worn with anything but boots and gloves.

I don't know if I'm missing something but when I get items out of a crate it's just time consuming. What I think would work nice here would be to have the crate show up as a resource (which is does already) and if you need 4 identical synthetic cloth you just double click the crate and it take the 4 cloth and puts them in the slot. That would be so nice and save time.

All I have for now. Hope this helps some.

The "Leather" palette is especially annoying, because (as I discovered repeatedly while making stuff for a customer who favored red) there's often nothing even vaguely in the general vicinity of red there!

(I have Tailoring I only, btw, in case it matters.) For example, Uniform Boots can't get anything like red - not even a reddish brown or purplish-reddish-maroonish color. Standard Boots can have a sorta-decent red-brown, though.

Wow, great list Alichai. I'm so glad we're getting help! I'll post if I find anything else as I make stuff.

Hmm, well I agree with some folks in this group who say that personal opinion shouldn't have a bearing on the game, as we all have personal opinions, but I disagree that we should allow more revealing clothing in the game, no matter how much folks cry for it. The reason? The game will be censored from here to eternity by outraged parents of all the 13 year old kids who look over their child's shoulder and see a woman dancing naked in the cantina. Not only that but it will give rise to more obsenity than there is already...much of which is out of line. So...I think that looking at graphics and deciding objectively if there is a cause for change due to the rating of the game environment...*is* valid. I will say that I'd much rather see a person wear a revealing fleshwrap than a cloak...and I'd prefer to see any piece of clothing other than the granny underwear.

Secondly, I think a person who is helping this community can darn well use whatever line marks she wants to use.

Thirdly, Alichai, I'd say the Wookiee clothing is sad, just sad. The first thing I ever heard from a wookiee regarding the clothing offered them was that it was made to make the Wookiees look like 7 foot tall ewoks. This noble race deserves much more from the tailoring community. I'm not a Wookiee...but I would truly love to see some nice things for them in the future.

Thank you Alichai, for your hard work.

Oh...sorry about this, I'm really not spamming the boards, but I've been sick and didn't even look here for a while.

Alichai, one of the things that has disturbed me the most, and it doesn't truly matter now that I am a master tailor, but...

We get next to no experience for our factory items. I feel that we should get better experience for higher level items...and we don't. In fact, I sat one night and made level 4 items for nearly 4 hours and gained...800 experience. If I sit for 4 hours and craft linksteel gloves all night I'd get 70K exp. The reason is that all the high level items require factory components. The components, actually represent a high number of resources within the item...and experience should be given for them, but its not. We get the 5% experience from them being made in the factory...and that's the end of the story. What I think needs to happen is that we get no experience at all in the factory, but when used in items we should get full experience. I think that's the only way to work it out fairly.

Sorry about multiple message in a row.
