Those things had actually crossed my mind as well. But I don't hold out much hope for those being true. The skewed color palette they broke really early on in the CU beta. It was one of the very first problems I saw. I suspect they broke that when they were monkeying around with armor, fonts, and other UI elements.

The factory crate color-problems aren't tailor specific. Who knows how they managed to break that one.

The BE stuff I have no clue about. I'd definitely take some "down time" if it meant getting those to apply to all garments as well, but every dev I've talked to, both at fanfest and in the corr forum seems completely oblivious to the whole world of bio-clothing. I mean somebody, somewhere, must know how this stuff works, but it seems to me like one of those things that gets very little visibility to them.

I just realized what would make this all better

if some how some way {and this is not a rumor nor something posted somewhere but only a far fetched idea from me}

the colors became broke becuase we are getting a universal pallette, and options for trim

and the BE mods wont work because they are all becoming optional slots for all clothing instead of compona

If this happened I would gladly take this month of making myprof sucks and forget about it

Really?

Think about what is going on right now with crafting and then read the review below of the "crafting discussion"from Fan Fest this year.

Crafting

I attended one of the two crafting forums. One turned out to be plenty for me. There really isn't much to say about it. For the most part the exact same things that were brought up last year, were brought up again this year. Some of them off the top of my head include casks being broken, one of the architect components not stacking, some droids being bugged and/or not useful, no decay for clothing and architecture products, lack of new clothing, the bio-tissues problems with reguards to lack of clothing accepting rfp, and in particular lack of wookiee clothing.

To all of this, the answer was always the same: "these are things we want to do, it's just a matter of priorities and finding the time to do them".

One thing that they were asked about several times were repair kits for the valuable speeders (e.g. av-21's and jet packs). The devs seemed to be very inclined to add those.

They were asked about the curious "doctor bag" in the master artisan box. They said this was an item that was added during testing and the fact that it made it "live" was a bug. They were non-committal about whether or not they'd make it useful or just remove it.

Art's take: very discouraging, more so than last year. Last year at least these problems were acknowledged and there was some serious desire aknowledged about adressing some of these things, but not this year. In fact this year when many of these things were brought up, we got kind of blank stares and the canned answer back in return. I'm not sure whether to attribute this to the devs unfamiliarity with crafting (with Green Marine not being there) or whether it is more of an attempt to try to lower already low expectations that crafters have for upcoming releases, or whether it's just a complete indifference to all such issues. Anyway, from what I could see there is pretty much no activity at all here.

I dont see it as some "conspiracy" either, I just see it as the direction the game is going. They are not really being subtle about it if you ask me.

Well, I came back after 55 days, damn I lost all my vendors, items, ressources and a few other things. And then this new bugs to the tailor. So my decission is clear, I have enough time to respec my char and I think in the end it won't be a tailor or merchantanymore. In Germany we would say "They fu*ked us in the knee" So it feels to me, and I am sorry for all customers.

I wonder, but I didn'tsee it here.I had problems using the Input Hopper of my Armor & Clothes Station. When the "Filter Items" box is activated,it doesn't show me the ressources inside the hopper. When I deactivate it, the resources are there but can't be used by drag-n-drop or double-click. First when I drop the resources in my inventroy I can use them as normal. Is that an old one or also new? Did anybody else have this porblem? May be it's schematic sensitive so I tried to make a Infiltrator Leggings and the crates don't show up.

Greetings and may be the force with all Tailors

Well this goes perfect with the double xp announcement starting tomorrow.I am usually easygoing with little fixes in the game but after a week and it's so big of a mistake, it's irritating me to no end. I now spend much of my time explaining that I can't make so and so any BE outfits period that I am thinking of putting up an afk macro and spatial macro stating that I can't do it. It's not that I don't want to make them their outfits, I can't do a thing until they fix it, but at least the lights work so I can stare at my worthless crates of BE tissues.
