Actually those threads are not getting deleted, they are just made invisible for users. Every day there's a new issue thread. But for the reason why, you might be right. 10 pages of threads with bug listings don't look good for someone who is checking these boards before buying the game. Clearness in this board might be another valid reason.

Just one thing to say - Why on Earth on this patch pushed to live with such a big bug in it?

It goes like this for months. Major bugs are found and reported on TC but still it goes live. And it's surprising how short the period between "In test" and "live" is. Sometimes it's just 2 days. Just look at the CU - it wasn't half way finished, whole planets were not balanced, but it went live.

For me, I don't like playing my ID/Tailor/Merchant toon at the moment. Merchant is seriouslybugged and needs some new features (I don't want to relist all my stuff every 30 days manually, no), Tailor had broken mods on BE clothes (now it's fixed: They don't have ANY mods at allanymore).

Did /bug on Sunday. Replying here now as well.

This is a serious issue but it seems the combat issues always come first.

I'm currently learning C# programing language, and I just came to this part ofthe training....

"Most code contains errors when first written. Thus, you should expect your code to have bugs when first written. However, a final application that is full of bugs or does not function according to specification is useless. You create a final version from a bug-laden first draft through testing"

The highlighting is my own work, but I had to come and post it!

Right, back to the books....

I just realized what would make this all better

if some how some way {and this is not a rumor nor something posted somewhere but only a far fetched idea from me}

the colors became broke becuase we are getting a universal pallette, and options for trim

and the BE mods wont work because they are all becoming optional slots for all clothing instead of compona

If this happened I would gladly take this month of making myprof sucks and forget about it

They do NOT want to help us!!! They(DEVS,DEAFS) want us (crafters)OUT OF THEIR GAME!!! its not obvious? 1st the CU makes it impossible for a pure crafter to go and set harvs. yes, 1500 damage in one hit and to the cloners we go. Now we cant make product..You tailor's want a fix? dont hold your breath. In 2 years of playing this game as a crafter i have had ZERO response to any crafter related ticket i have sent in....ZERO! in 2 years! so hard to keep the language clean when dealing with SOE.

Just cancelled Twinklet tailor/be because of this bug. I have been supporting the cu since it went live, telling everyone to give it a chance, but this has broken my spirit. Especially the complete lack of anything being done to help us, over a week and we are still in the same boat.

OH! Thank goodness those candles and lights are working again at least i won't poke myself with a needle while sewing

I agree 100%. They are intentionally NOT fixingcrafting bugs for the exact reason you stated.

Does anyone really think that it is just a coincidence that all these crafting bugs appear without getting fixed at the same time as they offer us all of these RESPECopportunities.

THEY WANT US ALL TO GET FRUSTRATED ENOUGH THAT WE GIVE UP AND RESPEC INTO COMBAT PROFESSIONS.

Then, when there are very few crafters left, they can announce that due to "lack of interest incraftingprofessions" they are discontinuing them andcreating an NPC vendor system forbuying and trading.

I hope I am very, very wrong about this, but I do not think so. My signature should say it all, I am a Armorsmith/Tailor/Merchant and my other toon is a BE. My crafting and vendor business is dead at the moment.

Watch and see.

i really hope that doesn't happen.

that would suck royally if i had to always buy from an NPC...

crafting has been a nice alternative to the grind of just endless combat...

it's nice that i can make some clothes that look good...and is a variety...

WOW, I don't know what to say about this.

At fanfest, we asked the devs to fix all preCU clothes to working PostCU mods and I quote,

"No way will be do that, clothing is way too complicated to fix."

My response was, "You can fix weapon powerups, why not clothes?".

Response was, "it not the same and not going to happen, next.".

That said, the Devs did state that they are committed to making the game better for crafters when the CU is "Ironed out". Who knows what that means.

My guess is that they are trying to fix the BEmods that don't work and borked everything in the process.

As far as conspiracies go, real factual documented conspiracies have occured throughout history, what makes our point in time so special that there aren't any. Don't forget about Enron and the "California Energy Crisis". Both conspriacies at the top level.

Don't forget that the devs are not the only ones running the show. I would bet that in most cases management basically tells the Devs to piss off and does what it wants. IE push crap code live.

Am I happy about this kinda BS, hell no.

DO WHAT I DID, FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU OF SAN DIEGO WHERE SOE LIVES. IF ENOUGH DO, THEN THEY WILL GET UNWANTED ATTENTION.

You have to be kidding me. I decided to check the forums before I deleted all of my chars and uninstalled everything SOE. I tell ya, in a world with so many mmo's to choose from and so many platforms to play on I'm still amazed at how some games and companiescan be so awesome, even with it's customer service and then there is this on the other end of the spectrum.

No feedback from the Devs at all?? I love crafting and have found another avenue to meet that need without having to worry about stupid harv's being paid up and wether or not my vendors will poof. It's a heck of a lot of fun too!!!!!

Don't think I'll be back around this time so to all of you staying, good luck and I sure hope you find something worth staying for!!

**cheers**

yes like some of you, I have lost my patience with the game and it's bugs. Warping everytime I try to travel home. Can't craft in my factories, can't make BE wear...everyday I notice some bug. If I were Lucas Arts I would be ashamed of this game. Would Lucas release a movie with mistakes in it?

I had a tailor on another account since launch. She's been cancelled.

Had my new jedi on another account...since cancelled as well.

Between me and my husband, and friends, SWG has lost about12-14 accounts that won't be renewed again.

I loved the game, but a time comes when you feel it's more hassle then enjoyment.
