I still don't have an answer on the bug/intentional issue, but I'm being very loud, promise. Once we get an answer on the bug/intentional issue, we can move on to discussing either 1) when it will be fixed or (if intentional) 2) ways to solve this problem.
If it's intentional (if!), a potential solution may be experimentation leading to socketing, as was discussed last week. This may not be a perfect solution, but would at least give the tailor a bit of control over socketing, instead of facing the mindless array of redos.
Again, I don't have an answer, I'm just thinking ahead to potential solutions, because our top 5 timeframe is another week (final copy next friday). I'm trying to get an answer on the bug/intentional issue before the top 5 needs to be in, so if we want, we can stick a socketing proposal into the top 5.

I too have stopped crafting. In fact, I have stopped selling! I only sell bio clothing and I refuse to sell the rest of my 4 socket stock until I know what is going on. All I need to know is if they are considering changing it back or if this is the new deal. I don't care either way, but I need to know before I start crafting agian. I'm not about to throw away my current hoard of bio cloth trying to make clothes if they are going to change it all back.
It's ok with me if it's going to take more than a crate of bio enhanced synth cloth to make a 4 socket +25 treatment sunguard (9 tries * 3 cloths each = 27 bio enhanced synth clothes!!!!!), but I'm going to have to raise my prices just a little....

I had an order for a spec-ops duster (black of course) with +16 mask scent and +17 taming and 4 sockets today. I used all 900+ OQ materials and I ended up having to make 3 of them before I got more than 2 sockets. Fortunately I lucked out on the 3rd one. Thats a lot of expensive tissues, though. I ended up charging a lot to make up for it.
