Thread: Patch 8 notes!!!
The modules stack, though. You load up a droid with all harvest modules, you're gaining nearly twice the harvest.
Now, if you're a food-buffed ranger harvesting with one of these things, twice your harvest is going to be much more than twice a scout's harvest, even for Master Scout.

It also does not address the issue.

That is a seller droid right there!!![]()
What I do now is that I never, ever, use spatial when in coronet anymore. I made a tab especially for "instant messages" and guild stuff and when I'm in coronet I just use that. It's unfortunate that it's come to that. Someone cannot walk up and talk to me anymore.

And since it's not a player, we probably can't /addignore them either! Can't wait to see this in Live to see if going to Coronet will crash my PC.
Ok, I used the creature harvesting droid last night. It has 6 modules, each module is rated 20, so supposedly that's 6x20=120% of my harvesting power. Sure enough I was killing gurks which, took forever, I am novice sword/novice doc, and my partner in crime was 1h3 - well 1h2 but after 1 gurk lair, it was time to train 1h3. But anyway, I digress. Killed the gurk, and went to harvest the hide, 49 hides per gurk (I have harvesting 4). Out pops the droid.
I'm sure you know this already but let me tell you how this droid works. You program it a command like "harvest". Then you set which resource you want. And then you click on the dead critter and say "harvest". I'm not sure if /tellpet works with droids. The spam on a rancor hunt will be out of control.
Anyhoo, I said "harvest", and the droid popped up with 58 hides, instead of 49. Well according to that math thing, it's around a 20% increase. I am not honestly finding it worth it. Batteries are a pain, and during group hunts I routinely am trapped in combat the whole time, so that at the end of the battle I'm frantically finding corpses before they time out, and this slow droid doesn't really do it for me. Not for an extra 20%. Did I mention the batteries? Bah. I haven't tried droid harvesting during combat (which might be useful), but I'm usually busy.. ahem... not dying.
I can imagine that if you're out by yourself farming hides, then you'd want the extra 20%. It's nice having your own personal slave to harvest. But they're cumbersome in group situations.

And that Ladies and Gentlemen, is how Jess takes a break from tailoring.
