Thread: More Info: Prioritizing Tailor Issues
One more I just remembered....
There is no way to add skill gems to the sockets in backpacks (someone please correct me if I'm wrong)
>1. Luxurious gowns, heavy flightsuits, and fighter flightsuits (possibly more items too, but these are the >ones I've run across) have a bugged "color 1" selection. There are two selectable colors and both of them >are white.Neither choice has anyeffect on the item's appearance.
This also happens with the Light Bustier. A mnor annoyance, but still abug that needs to be ironed out!
Ayala, Chilastra
Here's my list of top priorities for tailors:
1. Colors definately need to be adjusted to actually work at higher levels (currently they disappear after you hit novice)
2. Experimentation does absolutely nothing.
3. Decay isn't working.
4. Backpacks should be able to hold more depending on which backpack it is (Travel should hold 30, Tech and Military should hold 50, BH 60, Spec Ops 70) Not just look cute.
5. Clothing needs to be able to overlap over armor or other items. Bandoliers for instance cannot be equipped with a backpack. They did in beta...what happened?
6. High End Tailor Loot needs to stop.
7. BE components need to work in factories (currently they do not and only work if hand made, which is pointless because i use exclusively a factory to build product)
8. Need to increase Tailoring exp. As it sits its way to slow and grinding out 1000 of each product (at the top end of exp) is god aweful slow. This needs to be revisited.
9. Materials are non-existant. I still haven't found Thoranium steel on Chilastra. Was the same in beta. Never saw it once, still haven't. Resource rollovers need to be fixed to help tailors out.
This is my short list of imediate needs to be fixed items. I'll give you my long list later =)
Nice list and thread, I am glad to see it, and hope we get some response in the form of game updates based on this.
My top 2:
(1) Missing Colors.
Would really like to see master tailors get full RGB color control someday, would create a lot more variety in items, but bringing back the missing colors would be a great start.
(2) BE factory components need to be creatable. Yes I realize this is not strictly a tailor issue, but I know a lot of people that want an enhanced duster...

2.) High-end tailor drops from mobs is also something that needs to be fixed. Give them trophies or something that's non-craftable but unique enough.
3.) I remember working my way up to Tailoring I because of I wanted some new colors but I was sadly disappointed. Bring back those colors!!
5.) That would be a very nice tweak to the Bazaar.
9.) Belts, sashes and bandoliers are a major disappoint as well, especially when my female character wears one.
13.) A numbering or naming system for colors would be very, very useful. Save me some eye strain.
I know to some people a lot of this stuff seems pretty trivial and seems based completely on aesthetics. But when you build your character completely around appearances, the little things count. Oh, and good job Alichai!
Maybe i should start a new thread for this, but it seems as tho crates and possibly resources, dropped in a house, take up more than one of a small house's FEW 88 items allowed. Same for packs in the air with items in them. Some days i can have the packs with items in, others it seems to count every item in the pack. With the types of hides i have to keep on hand, this gets really old. especially with needing samples on wall, and i can't even have furniture or plants there's not enough item slots. 88 items isn't as many as you'd think, not when putting outfits up on the wall, and crates taking up so many spaces per crate.
I've tried storing the stuff on stockroom on vendor, but several problems. A), I have to put it up for sale first usually at a really high price so no one can buy it in the 5 mins or so before i withdraw it, B) then withdraw, C) takes a bit of time to retrieve from vendor alot, D) with the number of crates, variety such as shoe sole, synth, metal fasteners, and E) the bunches of hide i need etc, it becomes reallly time consuming and sometimes can't even access the items from stockroom at all.
As well I accidentally removed a vendor that had a bunch of stuff on, I was clicking on another thing but temperamental it removed it AGGGH. (We need to have a repeat destroy in 30 secs like the harvesters have).
You wanna talk about pain in the bum vendor mistakes... My house went *poof* taking my vendor with it and all 48 items I had in there. When I placed my new house and new vendor, all those old items showed back up on my vendor. At first I was excited until I realized that none of them are retrivable because they exist on an imaginary vendor inside a house that *poofed*.
Still trying to get them to fix this. =p I was able to pull them all off sale.. but they are still hogging up my stockroom and making things confusing for me.
Exotic Leotard: Peeekaboo Boobies, If you have an ample chest you poke through the leotard, very annoying. ![]()
And of course the annoying two color options but only able to select one. In beta you could color both parts of the Lux gown in Formal IV until they put in the exp nerf. Dont know what they broke when they did that, but thats when it happened.
Oh and on the stockroom thing, same thing happened to me, but having multiple vendors I select which vendor's stockroom I want to look at and it sorts it out for me.
Also Ali on lighting, have the charecter open thier inventory window and click on the little eye in the top left corner, this will allowthat person tosee themselves in good lighting, also to have them see good on someone else have them select that person and click on examine. Aliviates the run outside and take a look annoyance.
I'd move the wookie colour problem ahead of the bazaar changes. In a way I see the Bazaar user-unfriednlyness as a bonus to the craft in making tailor shops more effective to go to rather than the bazaar, I mean why bother even openning a shop, how many of our clothes are going to end up costing more than 3k?
This also feeds into the Merchant profession, why be a merchant if the bazaar is so useful, I'd rather see them lower the maximum amount the bazaar can handle to 1,000 credits and thereby drive more people towards shops.
Either way the wookie colour problems are definately more significent that the bazaar catagories, one is making something easier, the other is fixing a bug.
This is the list with the updates that have been suggested here...
1) Add Clothing Decay (requires Durability to show up on examine)
2) Stop High-end Tailor Lewt Drops
3) Missing 55 colors (and where they should be added back in)
4) Master Tailor + Armorsmith bug
5) Broken wookiee colors
