I have a question.. I am a first time user here so not sure how this works.... I am a master tailor.. What I want to know is .. Why Bio uses mostly reinforce fiber panels.. the only one that doesnt is Medical... and they arent many pieces of clothing that you can put the bio in because there arent that many clothes that take reinforce fiber... and the poor wookies are really hosed because you can only put the reinforce fiber in a shoulder pad.. I would like to see more bio that takes syntic cloth as well ...

Well I don't know why the majority of them into RFPs, however you can put other things besides the medical tissues into synthetic cloth. The dance and music wound healing tissues (I guess you could call that medical) and the taming tissues also go into synthetic cloth. The reason most clothes do not use RFPs is because they are only used in clothes in the field wear line (putting them in clothes in other tailoring lines would "gate" lower level tailors from making certain clothes).

Just posting this here as well... Any word on the wasted use if you look at the new looted schems in your crafting tool? That has surely got to be one of the worst ones yet. You only get three uses or TWO if you get excited and don't check it in your datapad (which takes 17hrs to load conincidentally). Thanks for all you do!!

I think most all clothing says that in its description.

I thought I'd show you all a couple of shots of my vendor wearing a belt. It looks ridiculous. Btw. is there any way of removing the belt on a vendor after putting it on - not to get it back in my inventory, just to stop it looking so silly.

As you progress in the Tailoring tree you're able to craft Wookiee garb with sockets. Chuck in a clothing attachment and you have some sort of protection/modifier for wookie clothing.

this is a reprint from the regular tailor forum in the hope of a dev answer to the 'is this just a bug that's being fixed?' part

the new +5 med exp jabba's schematic item:

this apron (which takes a jacket slot i believe?) can be crafted as a shirt... which i was all excited about because we already have a +6 med exp lab coat (white gunman's duster)

but now it seems the shirt can't be worn with the lab coat

buggy or meant to be that way? no shirt and apron combo i could see so that it's not just a full 10 from 2 jabba's palace items, but no coats at all?

it takes +20 med exp from items/clothes to get the 2 available additional crafting experimentation points, 1 per 10

i've never heard of a +med exp armor attachment, i think they're all clothing, so somehow the whole +20 needs to fit into clothing items

the vast majority of +med exp tapes in the game are +1 and +2, and i'm told that at present you can't stack 2 of the same kind of skill tape in one item, they just override each other, so... it's a big problemif the new shirt can'tbe worn with any coats

my partner (zabrak) and i (twi'lek) currently have:

+6 lab coat

+5 gloves

+2 tape waiting to be placed in something

+1 tape waiting to be placed in something

... and the +5 shirt which now apparently doesn't fit into the plan

so questions:

a) has anyone heard anything about that item being buggy? will some sort of fixhappen that makes the shirt and lab coat wearable together?

b) if we can't use the +5 shirt, whatother items that both twi'leks and zabs can weartake clothing skilltapes? are pants, shirt and belt it?is therefootwear that can besocketed? do clothing attachments go in bandoliers? is there such a thing as a hat that both twi'lek and zabrak can wear?

I doubt the shirt version will ever be wearable with a jacket. I assume it was done that way on purpose to keep folks from getting a shirt-style crafter's apron and one of the other styles, wearing them together, and getting a +10 bonus to two skills.

So I don't see this as a bug so much as intentional design to keep folks from doubling up.

I guess they could have tried to make the shirts equip as a shirt, then make it impossible to equip one of the shirts from the apron schem with the apron, but that would have been much more complicated, wound up being buggy somehow, and definately would have taken a lot more time.

And the devs haven't exactly been putting much time or attention into working on the tailoring profession. We can't even get them to fix the necklace bug we've had since barely after release, or sort the wookiee clothes into the "wookiee clothing" category on the bazaar.

aazatgrabya - handing the vendor another item will replace it. Mabari belts and padded armour belts will overwrite the hula hoop. Mabari will look best with that outfit.

anjh - the medical skilltapes will fit in gloves, shoes, bandoliers, belts, jackets/apron, shirt, pants, hat. With the labcoat and gloves, you can use the other 6 itemsto max out with +1 or +2 easily. The Master Chef hat can be worn by all races (including wookie) and has 2 synth slots for the very best mod upgrades. you can easily get +25 in medical, entertainer or taming bonus, or around +17 or +18 in a combination of two of these tissues. I always always recommend to customers, that belts, shoes and gloves be their first choice for skill tapes, because they have no synth cloth components. But for medical experimentation, it makes sense to get a +25 Chef hat and put them in this... best possible scenario, though... I still think it's best to wait for a great experimentation tape like the +6 in the labcoat.

When wearing a Padded Chest Plate over an Infiltration suit, small holes appear over the breasts. It literally looks like a torn out piece of cloth, raggedy around the edges! The holes do not appear if you wear the chest piece over a Tactical Skinsuit.

Edit> (according to my in-game husband; it's cuz Qitu's boobs are too big. *bonked him on the head* Heh. So I will go test this on a slender girl)

Tailors don't get experimentation. Even when we had it, it didn't work and it was removed from us months ago.
