Thread: How will you do custom orders after next publish?
(Anybody else remember those commercials? For the Syms clothing store, dunno, they were probably just local to DC, but that was their slogan.)
Best is to have an exclusive custom order vendor, in another room as your shop is in.

I think i stop making custom orders when im not able to sell non-empty bags. How on earth should i deliver 10 bags of clothes? I live on custom orders, i have a special vendor for that purpose. Never had a problem, never had a complaint. Perfect solution.
I can't store the orders 'temporary' untill they come and get it. I have already three houses, and two banks full of my things. Besides that i can't stay all day online and around my shop to wait for customers to pick uptheir stuff.
I can't put it just in the vendor all in the open. People will mix up items, people like the same things a lot (decorative vests, sunguards, etcetc)
Does anyone of you already thought of a solutionforthis **edit**up? Because they will not listen to petitions on Tempest.
Build or designate a house specifically for a custom order distribution vendor and don't label it as such. Then put an entrance fee on the house. The entrance fee will act as a barrier to entry to entry for most players. When the custom order is complete email a waypoint to the vendor to the customer with a note that the entrance fee has been deducted from the purchase price. Also warn them that if they buy someone else's custom order they will be banned from future purchases.
Its not a perfect solution but its better than nothing.
You can hide a vendor inside a crafting station (hey, if you can hide *yourself* inside a crafting station, why not!)
Put a ridiculously high door fee on a special order house, and then just put people who have orders pending on the entry list so they don't have to pay. If someone ends up paying the door fee - that'll teach em!
