I've heard that if you have a high imperial rank and /slap a stormie they will either appologise, or beg for their lives... haven't tested this myself yet though. I've also heard it's a really bad idea to say "I'm a rebel" or "I'm a Jedi" in the Emperor's Retreat.

I'm a master sergeant and for most stormies, if I try to do anything insulting they just say "Aye, my actions were inexcusable" or "Please give me another chance, I won't fail you again!" However, I was by the Imperial recruiter yesterday in Theed and decided to find out what happens when you yell "Long Live the Rebellion!" Well, I got fined 24k (10k for saying it, 14k just because the stormie wanted it... LOL), 100 faction, and got mind incapped. A funny experience, but not necessarily one I'm willing to repeat. LOL

Actually it depends on the emote you use.... I have saluted, smiled and grinned at them and had nothing happen.... althogh admittedly at the time of the smiles and grins I was neutral. But apparently you are allowed to salute or use military demeanors with them. I don't know why they only seem to respond to sexual innuendo though. /shrug.

I hope they develop this further, for example it would be hilarious if, when you flailed wildly or collapsed in front of a stormie, they incapped you for your own protection and had you sent to the med center. Or at least fined you for public displays of illness and ordered you to the med center.

I hadn't read this thread (before tonight) and was running around the other day on Kauri with a new character I was planning to work on smuggler with. I got a giant worrt mission, and was trying my best to finish it, but all I had was like pistols 1 (for some reason in mos eisley next to the lucky despotyou can get some abberant missions that dont necessarily correspond to player levels). Anyways, so I was getting owned by the giant froggies, and all of a sudden these storm troopers run from out of nowhere to my aid. They help me kill everything in the lair, and then I finished it off with no problem. After I was done, I was so greatful I ran over to one and /hugged them. Instantly I got a threatening message, 3k deducted from my meager account and and an admonation not to be so disrespectful to an imperial soldier again LOL.....I was neutral or I probably would have got incapped formy troubles as well
so much for the imperal luv *snifs*

I'm not the baddest looking...true i'm zabrak, and apparently we get no love from stormies at all...must be the only humans are good enough thing... but i saw this stormtrooper a while ago... so handsome in that shiny white armor... i couldnt help myself... and kissed him... big fine.... got mad at him then cause he said how does it feel to be less then us zabrak... so i punched him...racist thug... thought i could get into a fight with him then... show him who's superior... obviously they are... even with mind buff and brandy... still took him 1 hit to mind incap me... no fight no nothing... 1 hit and down i went... why are stormies not this strong when they are attacked by rebels?

One of my friends ground all the way up the Imperial faction ranksto colonel just so he could slap stormtroopers and get away with it.
