I number my colors, left to right top to bottom, so there's a red 217, 216, 215, (214 stats getting pinky) and a red 244.
I tell everyone who has a custom fitting or who happens to be in the shop while I am how I label my clothes so that it's easy to have another tailor make coordinating items. However, I don't think that there's a 42 in a palatte that's purple, but I may be wrong...
I think 42 was the number of "named" colors I said I had.. and I'm still trying to figure out why Arthur likes the number 42. ![]()

Well, do a quick google on the name Arthur Dent. I don't want to ruin it for Arthur or you, but there's a clue further down the page...
If you're a child of the 80's and saw the movie St. Elmo's Fire,Kirby answers a question with the answer "Dale Beaverman". 42 isyet another answer to the same question.
Well, I add my name because it helps... Well, it doesnt do much when you have a shop of your own, but it does help on the bazaar so your customers can easily find your products.
Still though... it is nice to have your name, logo, or mark on stuff. I used to be annoyed with people who put their tag at the front of the name, 'cause I totally agree, who wants to see that in their inventory? So perhaps putting it at the end will be better. More then likely, it won't eve be visible there.
The one thing to never do though is to color the name. That has annoyed me from the start and still does, and it is something I will never do. I find it to be an eye sore in inventorys and makes it difficult to browse vendors when items looking at a rainbow of colors.
Come to think of it, I think it is best to put some kind of little tag on the name, either at the front or end.
Putting it at the end doesn't harm anything so, why not? And putting it in the front I believe it does create a consumer loyalty. People want their things to match. So if they see your name in their inventory mixed with clothes from another, they'll want it to match. People like consistancy. So whichever way you choose, just be sure to stick with it.
I'm just at 0100 Tailor now, so I have some time to experiment with this before I start selling stuff so. But right now, I'm liking my tag at the front!
