I think this thread got lost when I was at the summit! Eep!
Okay, well... traditionally wookiees don't get real "clothing" and whatnot, but they are getting those silly jedi robes, so I don't see why not flightsuits. It's probably too late to be putting in new art for JTL - they've been working on JTL for-ever! - but I'll ask about it.

good to see you n'Jessi!... i was worried you hated me.. /sniff...
looks like i've been called out on my lies about wookiees and clothing, heh... yeh i admit it, it was all a blave (which we all know means "to bluff")... in truth, i'm a happy wookiee without my clothing... but we still need flightsuits for the function if not for the fashion... unpressurized cockpits, self-contained life support, tremendous gs on takeoff and landing... wookiees need them for the same reason as you coat-hangers...
on a side note, another thread in JtL got made... this time not by me, but it has it's relevance as folks are responding to it... as with some of the other opinions, i'll share them here...

I'm a good 'ol wookiee, pitch black and bright green patterned nonetheless, but hey. Im all for this, its a brilliant idea, i'd change myself to a pink wookiee and go around yelling stuff bout Hawtpants but would look kinda stupid and get kicked outta my guild heh. Do we know if the devs have read this yet? If any devs have done/are doing take a poll to see how much support this thing has got, theres alot
guess i need to chime up again and say we need more than just wookiee flightsuits with JtL... other species need helmets, masks, and other "dress-up" gear... for the most part, anyone who's trying to roleplay would prefer to wear clothes to armor, and if we don't ask for more in JtL we might not get it...
oh... and props to Dervish... thanks for getting /wookieeroar fixed among other things...
