I'm on the planetary map, but hte names of my vendors are rather generic. My project for this weekend is to replace them with vendors named something more flashy.

My vendors are all named such as :
Mauves - Fashion
Mauves - Bio Wear
Mauves - Schematic Clothing
Mauves - Wookie Clothing
etc.
Having 9 vendors like that in a row on crtl + v makes an impression i think. thats pretty much the only way ive advertised, rest seems to get done by word of mouth from my customers

Ava's husband is one of those "4 socket" people... fortunately he also has a brain in his head, which means 1) he knows what to ask for and what can and can't be done and 2) he has the compassion not to ask me to do it. He knows I would, but doesn't want to put me through it. LOL

I ended up redoing my vendors last night, which wasn't so bad if you delist/relist by price group. I have an extra vendor slot available, so I was able to put down the new vendor, transfer stuff, and then rip the old one up. I definitely like having one "floating" vendor spot.
What did I end up naming my vendors? Well it's -Hawt Stuff- Furniture, -Hawt Stuff- Unisex Clothing etc. Don't look at me. Fanboi picked the names, and half the vendors sell his stuff.

n'Jess, send me a mail on Starsider with a waypoint to your shop and a little advertisement so that I can forward it on to people.

- What the stats might be for the best BE clothing
After all of this, which took about 1 1/2 hours, he decides not to buy any.
Ouch, damn 1 1/2 hours wasted and the guy doesn't buy anything? *growls*

This is why I use the ubiquitous "please check the forums" response for any in-depth questions. I had someone the other night wanting to know absolutely EVERYTHING about tailoring... turns out he just needed a crafting prof to grind for Jedi. He was nice enough though so I didn't mind helping him out, but once it got into the "what should I make to get the most xp possible" I pointed him here.
