Well I made sure I had a nice chunk of change in my bank before starting tailor because I knew it wouldn't be cheap to start with. I spent 1.5 million credits just to buy the basic resourcesI would need. I also stocked up on schematics from guildmates and ones being sold on the bazaar. I now have 4 vendors down, one with regular clothing and loot, one with food(in our cantina), one with BE clothing and one with regular clothing. I also stocked up on the heavy duty leather and clasps so it cost me next to nothing to make the specialty aprons and such. But I found the key to keeping my bank balance the same was to balance out tailor with an elite combat profession.(swordsman) The goodthing about this isI can solo most things alone and any rare loot I come across is sold. I could also run high paying missions to balance out what credits I spent on the leather and other resources I would need. Also the apron sales have raised my bank balance quite noticeably. So by having a crafting profession and a combat I can sell to a larger market.
